No steaks or burgers in decades for me. Salmon; and lamb occasionally. Lots of veggie and whole wheat fiber

Don't dig your own grave with a knife & fork.

Steaks, burgers, Lamb and Salmon are all good for you. Some veggies are good for you. Whole wheat is ok as a treat but it's not good for you.

Where is the evidence that eating red meat causes colon cancer?

Your risks are higher with high meat consumption
With meat and a high fiber diet your risks are more moderate
I always manage to eat extra fiber after consuming meat
Otherwise bowl passage is delayed

I'm no vegan and I use skim dairy, I don't run around preaching this or that. But I find it strange that the people in those vids you posted are laughing a lot. Are you sure that's not some kind of nervous 'whistle-in-the-dark' defensive mechanism?

Re cattle, I saw a spot cartoon of God, during creation, sitting on a cloud looking over a herd of cattle saying 'now I have to create somebody to eat you guys'

There's no real evidence of that.

I consume plenty of fiber. I don't know how important is it though. Some studies have shown that it isn't helpful at all.

I don't drink milk. I use full fat cream in my coffee and I often use it on my berries. I also eat cheddar cheese.

The article references epidemiological studies. Such studies are not worth considering unless the risk estimates that they come up with are enormous. Anything less than 2.0 can be dismissed. Anything above that might be worth considering.  0.28 and 0.20 are easily dismissed.

Somebody is always writing a book claiming this or that
Which organizations are promoting meat? Oh, yeah... meat producers.
You wouldn't happen to be in cattle production would you?

The better question to ask would be ,which organizations are railing against the consumption of animal products?

Do you eat real butter? If not, why not? Do you cook with lard or other animal fat? If not,why not? I have no investment in cattle production. As a natural omnivore, I am very thankful for cattle production.  Beef is loaded with nutrients. It's all good for you. When is the last time you had beef liver?
