I would  be content if it were just Oswald the lone nut as the WC proposed and there were no MIC and no CIA involvement and it was just a horrible event that no one in the security community could have anticipated.

Problem is that there were persons who knew Oswald, associated with Oswald, whom were themselves VIPs and connected with what is now called “the deep state”, formerly referred to as “shadow government”.

This kind of evil comprises members across several agencies which include
mafia” of which some members such as Jack Ruby play double roles as a nexus between the “good” and the “bad” elites

in this particular case, the “good, the bad, and the “ugly”  elites reached a consensus that JFK was their common denominator disrupting their interconnected criminal enterprises and in the case of the CIA, their very existence given JFKs public declaration to  “scatter them to the winds”

The final verdict was reached at the secret meeting of LBJ  when the justification was concocted that JFK had become a “national security threat” and that he should  be removed by whatever means necessary.

And 50 years, lo and behold, that same kind of rhetorical and incendiary language is used by another CIA director and repeated by media to threaten removal of a US President

Larry, the incident of Thomas Arthur Valet in Chicago was ample warning enough of some plot underway

besides all the bumper stickers and the JFK “traitor” pamphlets from such anti Kennedy persons known by FBI and actually recorded predicting the method of disassembled rifle from high building window

As well as the known FBI surveillance of Oswald and the Hosty note from Oswald that was coincidentally destroyed

As well as Hosty feigning ignorance of the motorcade route let alone prior knowledge that Oswald the defector was currently employed in TSBD

As well as a high probability that George DeMorensheild knew of the MC rifle Oswald had and likely also deduced that Oswald had shot at General Walker

The breaking of SOP for Secret Service to ride on the JFK limo and LBJ ducking before shots are fired

The reversal of JFK foreign policy concerning Vietnam by LBJ only 3 days after the assassination

Connected therefore to Jack Ruby who is connected with Oswald

IDK for certain,Larry, but IMO, these “Coincidences” add up to a high probability of many persons with pre knowledge of a Dealey Plaza attempt to be made and some of them, like Jack Ruby, And LBJ were there
