Some refreshing fact and common sense about the senseless lockdowns:

Stanford expert blasts COVID lockdown failures: 'We quarantined the healthy ... exposed the sick'
https://justthenews.com/politics-policy/coronavirus/stanford-professor-lockdown-failures-we-quarantined-healthy-and-we

EXCERPT:

Quote
Jay Bhattacharya, the director of Stanford's Program on Medical Outcomes as well as the director of the school's Center on the Demography and Economics of Health and Aging, said in an interview this week on the John Solomon Reports podcast that he found it "shocking" that, as countless countries earlier this year moved to shut down ahead of COVID-19, so many had forgotten to "think about both the cost and benefits" of such policies. . . .

The professor said the global community largely abandoned the playbooks followed during earlier pandemics, instead "jump[ing] to a global lockdown."

Bhattacharya alluded to the policies in states such as New York and Pennsylvania that instructed nursing homes to accept COVID-19-positive patients, decisions which critics have claimed led to a significantly elevated death rate in nursing homes.

"We essentially, in effect, exposed people who were at high risk in nursing homes, in assisted care facilities, elderly populations," Bhattacharya said. "We essentially, in the early days of the epidemic, did the inverse of the right policy."

When Orangatrump loses in November, can he be charged with manslaughter, because of his failure to inform the American public of the dangers of the virus? A failure which has contributed to 190,000 lives being lost.

LOL. Yes, he should have run to the podium and shouted "Every man for himself.  We are all doomed."  And instilled widespread panic. Wow.  I thought the dem party line was that Trump was too dumb to understand the risks and ignored the "scientists"?  Instead now we learn he was one of the first to appreciate the dangers!  While Crazy Nancy, Old Joe, and Negligent Cuomo were telling people it was alright to attend rallies, parades in Chinatown, and come to NYC in March because the virus was overblown.  Trump was apparently way ahead of those nitwits who are now blaming him for not acting soon enough.  Incredible.  Thankfully, Fauci put the record straight this week.  This is desperation taking over in light of falling cases and deaths and the economic recovery.  And what better day than 9/11 to reflect on Trump's success against ISIS?  That situation was out of control under Obama.  Now you never hear a word about any terrorists.  So much winning!

Der Feuhrer should have done what a real leader did, as Winston Churchill did. When he said

“One ought never to turn one’s back on a threatened danger and try to run away from it. If you do that, you will double the danger. But if you meet it promptly and without flinching, you will reduce the danger by half. Never run away from anything. Never!”

"I have nothing to promise you but blood sweat and tears."

Trump has supplied the blood and the tears but none of the sweat, although he is really sweating now.

The man is an utter disaster for the U.S, and only his blind, stupid supporters cannot see it.

That's the idiotic Trump defense.... It's a pathetic insult because it's demonstrates a contempt of the American people, who he seems to believe can't handle the truth. It's complete BS.

He just should have told the truth. That's what the European politicians did and there was no panic there, no chaos. They made it perfectly clear what needed to be done and the people understood and did it. A large part of Europe went into total lockdown and the results were far better than those in the USA.

The bottom line is a simple one, and Joe Biden pointed it out correctly; Trump lied about covid-19 and played it down because he did not want to hurt the economy and the stock market. He could care less about the avoidable deaths it caused.

I thought the dem party line was that Trump was too dumb to understand the risks and ignored the "scientists"?

He clearly was to dumb to understand the risks because he took them regardless of what the scientists said and the result was chaos and lots of deaths that could have been avoided. What kind of idiot does purposely ignore the scientists when he privately admits that they are right?

Instead now we learn he was one of the first to appreciate the dangers!

And we already know that he purposely took the risks those dangers posed and lied to the people for months! How do you call a guy who knows that covid-19 is 5 times more dangers than the common flu yet still tells the people it's the same as the flu? There is only one word and it starts with a L

While Crazy Nancy, Old Joe, and Negligent Cuomo were telling people it was alright to attend rallies, parades in Chinatown, and come to NYC in March because the virus was overblown.

Oh please....

Pelosi, Biden and Cuomo were not President of the United States. They did not have all the information the President has....and the President was Donald Trump. The guy who is now on record as knowing in February just how dangerous covid-19 is and said nothing!

Thankfully, Fauci put the record straight this week.

Actually, just now he did;

This is desperation taking over in light of falling cases and deaths and the economic recovery.

Yeah right....  The only one who is getting desperate is Trump!

And what better day than 9/11 to reflect on Trump's success against ISIS? That situation was out of control under Obama.

You clearly don't know a thing about history!

Now you never hear a word about any terrorists.

Don't you ever get tired of your crap being debunked all the time, "Richard"?

Oh... before I forget; how's the deep state conspiracy doing?   :D

https://justthenews.com/politics-policy/coronavirus/stanford-professor-lockdown-failures-we-quarantined-healthy-and-we

EXCERPT:

Ain’t hindsight a wonderful thing. What this article illustrates are a few cogent points. Some lockdowns were senseless because there was no consensus early on about airborne transmission, asymptomatic carriers and transmission prior to symptom development. We know that Trump was aware of some of these factors early on but did not confirm them publicly. As for death rates, figures were difficult to extrapolate early on, particularly from China, but early European figures I worked on suggested a mortality rate close to 0.7% overall. When working with the unknown only a fool would guess the lower estimate and hope for the best.

The author seems to assume that the US response (along with a few other countries) is representative of the world. My city of more than a million has had a total of 460 odd cases and 4 deaths. We went hard and early with appropriate testing and have reaped the rewards. Kids in schools and even few masks worn. The Us has suffered from a disjointed, uncoordinated response, largely guided by political considerations over the health and well being of its citizens. You had a self confessed cheerleader for a team with no quarterback.

Projecting, deflecting, and blaming isn't going to help your criminal murdering psychopath. He is guilty of lying to every American about a deadly virus purposely and intentionally withholding crucial information that would have saved lives. That is criminal.  When Trump loses on November 3rd he will be going to prison.
