masks wearing may have some benefit in slowing the spread of the virus but it is not as effective as touted by the dems.

Who cares if it isn't as effective as claimed by the democrats? As long as it slows the spread of the virus, masks should be worn and anybody who argues against that is an idiot.

Who cares?  How about the people who are getting the virus while wearing masks under the mistaken assumption that they are much safer than they really are?  You can't be for real.  LOL.   Again, no one is arguing AGAINST mask wearing.  That is another false narrative that the dems have driven.  Just questioning how effective they are when, for example, the head of the CDC falsely suggested they are as or more effective than a vaccine.  Or Old Joe waves his mask around and reads from the teleprompter that they will save hundreds of thousands of lives.  Maybe some people hear those baseless claims, put their masks on and decide to go about their normal business thinking they are safe when they may not be.  Maybe they would make different decisions if they had not been told these baseless claims.

Oh please... all this fake outrage. If you could you would actually blame the virus itself on the Democrats.

Again, no one is arguing AGAINST mask wearing.

Except Trump. He has been arguing against it for months. Talk about giving people the wrong impression!

Maybe they would make different decisions if they had not been told these baseless claims.

And maybe less people would have gotten infected or died if Trump had not been so negative about wearing a mask.

It's a total falsehood that President Trump has argued against anyone wearing a mask.  Another false narrative.  He has simply not overstated their effectiveness and has instead promoted the vaccine as the real solution to the virus.  He has been 100% accurate on those accounts.  It is the vaccine and not masks that will make the difference.  Mask wearing may provide some protection but it also encourages people to go about their normal activities which offsets much of the value they provide.

BS.. he refused to wear a mask for weeks. You are, once again, trying to rewrite history.

I can't follow this rambling post.  Here is the point again.  Many states have mandated mask wearing for months.  New cases in those states are skyrocketing.   That is just a fact.  Now pay attention and don't get distracted thinking about how a chicken lunch is the key to the JFK assassination, masks wearing may have some benefit in slowing the spread of the virus but it is not as effective as touted by the dems.  Again, not that they don't work at all but that they were politicized to give the impression that they are much more effective than the evidence is showing.  I can't dumb it down any further.
How effective were they promoted to be? I just posted a quote from the CDC. They did an analysis of mask wearing in Kansas. What detailed analysis have you done? Exactly how effective did "the Dems" claim them to be? If you have some figures let’s see them. I seriously doubt you would know what evidence was if you tripped over it. You won’t even try to explain your understanding of Darwinism. Dumbed down indeed.

PS. I am happy to debate the significance of the chicken lunch with you but I doubt your willingness to budge from the offical narrative. At least JohnM eventually agreed that Williams likely saw the assassin.

Election loser Lame Duck Donald, the fraudster and con man, wanted to falsely take credit for a vaccine he had nothing to do with by holding his phony 'vaccine summit'. Drug companies Pfizer and Moderna saw right through his scam and wanted nothing to do with it. He called the virus a hoax and downplayed the seriousness of it the entire time and now he wants credit for a vaccine he had nothing to do with. A total loser and a fraud. This clown did the same thing with Obama's economy trying to claim he "created it" when it was Obama and Biden that created the greatest economy on record in 2009. All he did was have the economy handed to him until he destroyed it with his bogus Chinese tariffs and terrible trade policies. Manufacturing went into a deep recession in 2019 and his lack of leadership on COVID destroyed our economy putting 51 million people out of work.

Pfizer and Moderna reportedly turn down White House invitation to a ‘vaccine summit’
The White House gathering is seen as a stunt for Donald Trump to claim credit for the vaccine

LOL.  So much happiness when someone you don't like is infected with a life threatening virus.  That must have made your day.  Imagine how happy you would have been if Trump died from the virus.  Very pathetic to be filled with so much hate.  And that's not what I said about masks.  Another falsehood. I said masks were not as effective as the dems have claimed.  If they were, then places like NY, California, and other states with mask mandates for months would not be seeing the number of new cases skyrocket.  Can you make that connection?  Even a person of limited intelligence should be able to follow that.

I'm not happy about it at all. Rudy knowingly spread COVID around to many different states and who knows how many people will be sick because of him. Pathetic attempt at taking my words out of context and adding your false spin to it.

No, I'll enjoy Lame Duck Donald sitting in prison where he will end up for all his crimes.

Again, since you continue to show your ignorance I'll have to explain this to you again. Those states have mask mandates, but right wingers like you refuse to wear them so the virus continues to spread. People go to restaurants and contract COVID and spread it around. Morons have big house parties and people pick up COVID. Kids are picking up COVID-19 at schools and spreading it to their families. And now it's getting way out of control. Health experts and Democrats warned this was going to happen but right wingers didn't care demanding everything to be open. These are the facts but you whine about mask mandates and claim they don't work. Well, they work when they are used because New Zealand beat the virus because of masks. And until everybody wears one then the virus will continue to spread.

Richard is either clueless or just wants to post disinformation, take your pick.

Masks prevent the spread of COVID-19 when EVERYBODY is wearing them. New Zealand had every person wearing a mask and with their lockdowns they beat COVID. That is the evidence right there that masks work.

Just because a state has a mask mandate doesn't mean every person is wearing them. Ignorant right wingers refuse to wear masks in states with mask mandates and they are the ones who are spreading the virus.

Opening up restaurants and schools ignited the spread of COVID-19 just like medical experts and Democrats said it would.
