Trump Cover-Up EXPOSED!

A 7 hour 37 minute gap has been discovered in the White House call logs. The walls are closing in. DOJ must act.

Watch:

Another conspiracy theory has bitten the dust.  This one debunked by CNN!  What a shameful display.  There is no "gap" in the call log.  It is a function of the system that the White House uses.

Official review of Trump phone logs from January 6 finds record is complete

According to multiple sources familiar with Trump's phone behavior and the White House switchboard records, the January 6 log reflects Trump's typical phone habits. He mainly placed calls through the switchboard when he was in the residence but rarely used it when he was in the Oval Office. The fact the log does not show calls on January 6, 2021, from the Oval Office is not unusual, said the sources, because Trump typically had staff either place calls directly for him on landlines or cell phones. Those calls would not be noted on the switchboard log.

The six pages of White House switchboard logs for January 6, 2021, are complete based on an official review of White House records, according to a source familiar with the matter. There are no missing pages and the seven-hour gap is likely explained by use of White House landlines, White House cell phones and personal cell phones that do not go through the switchboard.

According to a "Trump source "....so pathetic. Of course they are going to cover up for this criminal.

CNN has gone downhill with their garbage reporting. A reason why they have low ratings. We will see how long it takes for them to retract this nonsense.

The fact is, calls were placed and there is an unexplained 7 hour gap. Criminal Donald refused to call off the insurrection when his own people and Faux News hacks were telling him to. He refused to send in the National Guard to stop it.

And there was absolutely no reason to have this hate rally on 1/6 which Criminal Donald incited an insurrection with his henchmen. There was also no reason for his MAGA thugs to be there to storm the Capitol.

Criminal Donald lost the election in a blowout to Joe Biden and it was not "stolen". That was an absolute lie and Donnie and his henchmen used that lie as an attempted coup to illegally seize power. That's treason and all of them will be in prison when it's all said and done.

Btw, the January 6th Committee is in possession of this incriminating text message stating Criminal Donald was a "participant" in the coup. How do you like them apples?

A January 3 text to Mark Meadows: "I have details on the call that Navarro helped convene... to delay certification... including that the president participated..."

'Very damning’ evidence against Trump puts pressure on DOJ to take action: Michael Steele

The former chairman of the Republican National Committee explained where there is growing pressure on Attorney General Merrick Garland to prosecute former President Donald Trump for trying to overturn the 2020 election.

Michael Steele was interviewed by MSNBC chief legal correspondent Ari Melber.

"You've been around this town for a while Michael," Melber noted. "When the chief of staff is texting or having contact with people about POTUS being in on something like this before the 6th, what does that tell you?"

Steele said, "I go to a very fundamental piece that is operational with Donald Trump all the time: nothing happens unless he wants it to happen."

He then elaborated on this point.

"You don't have Mark Meadows, you don't have Peter Navarro, you don't have anybody out here talking about trying to work to orchestrate, manufacture, create, or execute a coup, an insurrection, unless that is something that the president himself, Donald Trump, wants to happen," he explained. "And you're going to see many more pieces of evidence, the receipts, if you will, that are going to be -- are going to show just how involved the president was. Because from my own experience with him, nothing happens in his orbit unless he knows about it. It just doesn't."

Steele said the latest revelations "puts an enormous amount of pressure on the Justice Department now, because all of those little pieces are filling out one hell of a puzzle — and it is a very damning puzzle."

The best way to muzzle this criminal traitor is to throw him in prison where he belongs for treason and his failed coup attempt.

There should be a way to ‘muzzle’ Trump to stop him from being a national security 'hazard': Alexander Vindman

Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman (US Army, retired) voiced his frustration on Friday that former President Donald Trump is undermining national security by publicly asking Vladimir Putin to interfere in America's politics to harm the Democratic Party.

On Tuesday, Trump begged Putin to release dirt on President Joe Biden.

MSNBC anchor Nicolle Wallace asked Vindman about a tweet he sent in response where he referred to the former president as a "traitor."

Alexander S. Vindman
@AVindman

"Tell me this traitor’s security clearance has been revoked. He openly conspires with the enemy, when the U.S. is attempting to steer clear of a war with Russia."
https://twitter.com/AVindman/status/1508976453496590336

I want to focus on the openly conspiring with the enemy part of it," Wallace said. "Are you surprised that even Republicans who can be critical of Donald Trump — and there are about four of them, I'm thinking Mitt Romney — didn't really call this out for what it is, and it was seeking to do it a special joint operation with Vladimir Putin of the political type in the middle of a war."

"What are your concerns, not just about what Trump did, but of the sort of crickets that ensued?" Wallace asked.

"Well, I think, unfortunately, that's not surprising. He's tamed this Republican Party, he's got them under firm control," Vindman replied. "To me, a part of that is this -- the president is still plugged in. He still has access to classified information, and that should be under great scrutiny, because he is completely callous with his words and with his deeds."

"People are tired of hearing, you know, the same old lines from Donald Trump. I think that's why you see nobody showing up to his rallies anymore. They're tired of hearing about stolen elections in 2020 — all these lies," he explained.

"But he still is kind of looking for opportunities to lash out and those are harmful to U.S. national security interests and that's really the part that just gets me," Vindman said. "If there was a way to muzzle him, to prevent him from doing harm, that would be optimal. Of course, we don't live in that kind of society, nor should we wish that kind of thing, but I mean, sometimes, I do. He's a hazard, not just to himself, but he's a hazard to this country."

Yes, this was a coordinated GOP coup trying to illegally keep Criminal Donald in power.

Here's why 'nearly 300' GOP state legislators may be implicated in Trump's coup attempt

Hundreds of Republican state legislators may have legal exposure stemming from Donald Trump's efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election, a former top GOP strategist explained on Friday.

Amanda Carpenter, a columnist at The Bulwark, drew attention to a text message sent to then-White House chief of staff Mark Meadows on Jan. 3, 2021. The message references a call with Trump and Peter Navarro the previous day.

"We focused a ton on Trump's call to Brad Raffensberger but the idea Trump was coordinating with potentially hundreds of state legislators to block Biden's certification is...major. We should talk about that a lot more," Carpenter said.

Carpenter noted a press release sent the day before the text message to Meadows that described a very similar call.

In the press release, the group "Got Freedom?" said it "conducted an exclusive national briefing."

"Nearly 300 state lawmakers and others participated in the briefing, which also featured an address by President Trump," the group said. "Also on the call were Rudy Giuliani; professor of law John Eastman; Peter Navarro, Assistant to the President for Trade and Manufacturing (appearing in his personal capacity), and John Lott, Senior Advisor, U.S. Department of Justice (also appearing in his personal capacity)."

That is, if this was in fact the call being discussed here.

Election integrity group meets with legislators from contested states

AMHERST, Va., Jan. 2, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- Got Freedom?, a 501(c)4 nonprofit election integrity watchdog group, conducted an exclusive national briefing today at the request of state legislators from Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin to review the extensive evidence of irregularities and lawlessness in the 2020 presidential election. A similar briefing is being scheduled in Washington, D.C. at the request of Members of Congress.

The documentation discussed during the briefing — which includes more than 1,400 pages of material — is being made available for public consumption at https://got-freedom.org/evidence/.

Nearly 300 state lawmakers and others participated in the briefing, which also featured an address by President Trump. Also on the call were Rudy Giuliani; professor of law John Eastman; Peter Navarro, Assistant to the President for Trade and Manufacturing (appearing in his personal capacity), and John Lott, Senior Advisor, U.S. Department of Justice (also appearing in his personal capacity).

"This information should serve as an important resource for state legislators as they make calls for state legislatures to meet to investigate the election and consider decertifying their state election results," said Phill Kline, who hosted the call on behalf of Got Freedom?. "The integrity of our elections is far too important to treat cavalierly, and elected officials deserve to have all relevant information at their disposal as they consider whether to accept the reported results of the 2020 elections, especially in states where the process was influenced by private interests."

The evidence discussed includes unprecedented public-private partnerships that created a two-tiered election system in the states that determined the winner of the Electoral College. Funded by over $400 million from Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, these public-private partnerships sought to boost turnout in Democratic strongholds while depressing turnout in conservative areas, violating constitutional guarantees of due process and equal protection.

The private monies paid the salaries of election workers and funded the purchase of election equipment, but came with strict conditions on the conduct of elections in jurisdictions that accepted the money. These private interventions were aided by the actions of public officials, who sought to undermine transparency, fought efforts to audit the results, threatened legislators with investigation and prosecution for questioning the reported results, and in some cases even physically prevented state lawmakers from entering the Capitol Building in order to prevent them from challenging election certification.

"The American people, along with their elected representatives at the state and federal level, deserve full access to the evidence we've uncovered," Kline said. "We're pleased to provide this information so that those who develop policy and make decisions will have all the relevant information available to them."

Ahead of Trump rally, Benson says Michigan is ‘ground zero’ for threats against democracy

The spread of misinformation about the 2020 presidential election isn’t going to quiet down until those who have been spreading “the big lie” face consequences, Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson said Wednesday during a press conference.

The big lie is a conspiracy theory pushed by former President Donald Trump and his supporters that falsely claims the 2020 election was rigged against him and there was widespread voter fraud.

Benson, a Democrat, held a press call ahead of Trump’s upcoming SaPersonay rally in Macomb County for his endorsed secretary of state and attorney general candidates, Kristina Karamo and Matt DePerno, who both push election fraud conspiracies.

“The threats against our democracy are truly a five-alarm fire and in that fire, Michigan is ground zero,” Benson said. “And it’s a fire that consists of a national coordinated effort … where partisan politicians and others are lying to voters about the 2020 election results and about what’s at stake in order to carry out this national, multifaceted, multi-year, coordinated and sophisticated effort to potentially overturn the results of a legitimate presidential election or other elections.”

President Joe Biden beat Trump by 154,000 votes in Michigan, which has been confirmed by over 250 state and local election audits.

Tiffany Muller, president of End Citizens United, a liberal advocacy group, and Let America Vote Fund, joined Benson Wednesday to discuss the “Democracy Defenders” program, which will spend $7 million in key attorney general and secretary of state races across the country, including in Michigan.

Benson will face one of three likely GOP opponents. Karamo, a teacher from Oak Park who has called for a so-called “forensic audit” and spoken at a QAnon conference. State Rep. Beau LaFace (R-Iron Mountain) and Cindy Berry, Chesterfield Township clerk, are also running for the Republican nomination for secretary of state which will be determined at a Michigan GOP convention on April 23.

“For the first time, we now have candidates running for secretary of state and attorney general who actually deny the 2020 election results, who are trafficking in the big lie and perpetuating conspiracy theories that threaten and undermine our democracy. This is dangerous, they could have disastrous consequences in Michigan and states around the country,” said Muller.

DePerno is battling against former state House Speaker Tom Leonard and state Rep. Ryan Berman (R-Commerce Twp.) for the GOP attorney general nomination at the convention next month. The winner will face off against Democratic Attorney General Dana Nessel in November.

DePerno has said that if he is elected, he would “lock up” Nessel for referring the fraudulent Michigan Trump electors to the Department of Justice for investigation, echoing a common threat Trump has made against Democrats.

Again, try to read the explanation so that you can understand how the White House call log worked.  There is no "gap."  It apparently never tracked calls made from the Oval Office.  Not on 1/6 or any other day of the Trump administration.  It likely works the same way under Biden unless the system has been changed.  So Trump could make calls from the Oval Office that would not appear on that log.  Why not for once just acknowledge the actual facts instead of doubling down on a now debunked conspiracy theory?  It destroys any credibility you might have to double down on something once it becomes clear that it is untrue.  And you think CNN is on Trump's side?  Unreal.
