Poor Old China Joe. He will have control of the Senate. There goes his excuse not to get anything done during his administration. The radicals will be screaming for all manner of socialist programs and Establishment Joe will be sitting on hands waiting for his Wall St. paymasters to tell him what to do. It should be fun. I gave China Joe a year before the radicals invoke the 25th Amendment. But now they will want to do so as quickly as possible to ensure they can act while they have the opportunity. This couldn't set up any more perfectly for Trump in 2024. Either China Joe caves to the radicals or he alienates them and gets nothing done. Kantala "Fee-dom" Harris will get demolished by Trump.
“This couldn't set up any more perfectly for Trump in 2024.”
Yes, it could have been more perfectly set up for Trump. He could have demonstrated last night that candidates whom he supports and who support him to the hilt are winners. He failed to get that done. Too much focus on the “stolen” election.
What last night showed are that there are some Republicans, who voted for Perdue and Loeffler, and maybe voted for Trump in November, who did not vote for them in January. They don’t believe the election was stolen from Trump. They think the manual recount in Georgia matching the Dominion Voting Machines counts show the software was good. They think the Cobb county 150,000 signature checks in matching the signatures on file shows the mail-in ballots were also valid. They think Trump has been trying to steal the election, assisted by his toadies, like the two who lost the election last night. The same two who won the most votes just 9 weeks ago.
So, let’s forget about 2024 for the moment and concentrate on 2022. In 2022, Trump wants to “primary out” those Republican “traitors” like:
• Senator John Thune of South Dakota
• Governor Brian Kemp of Georgia
And I assume a bunch of others who didn’t go all out to support his bid to overturn the election today in Congress. These are the Republicans who have the best hope of winning in November 2022, assuming they can get past the primary.
Question:
Are you on board with this? Or do you think it would be better if Republicans ignore Trump’s leadership and continue to support these Republican candidates. You know what I think would be smart? Try to “primary out” those Republicans who supported Trump’s attempt to steal the election. Like Senator Ted Cruz. If not, they will face in November the wrath of the same sort of Republican voters who doomed Perdue and Loeffler last night. It’s the best path of regaining the Senate as quickly as possible.
