‘Momentous error’: Italian businessman mistakenly blacklisted by Trump to sue
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/momentous-error-italian-businessman-mistakenly-blacklisted-by-trump-to-sue/ar-BB1fmuMH?ocid=msedgntpAlessandro Bazzoni, who owns a graphic design company in Sardinia, has been unable to trade since 19 January, when his business was slapped with sanctions as part of the Trump administration’s crackdown on blacklisted Venezuelan crude oil.
In a case of mistaken identity, the US Treasury erroneously blacklisted Bazzoni’s graphic design company, SeriGraphicLab, along with a restaurant and pizzeria in Verona owned by another businessman called Alessandro Bazzoni.
The Trump administration seems to have had some confusion over Venezuela. Dominion Voting Systems is not controlled by a dead Venezuelan dictator. Nor does either Alessandro Bazzoni have a relationship with Venezuela Crude Oil, nor with Crude Oil, nor with Venezuela. Neither the Graphics Design company owner nor the other Italian businessman who runs a pizzeria. Although maybe the Alessandro Bazzoni pizzeria owner was cracked down on because QAnon elements in Trump’s administration want to crack down on all pizzerias they can, just to be safe.
Mr. Bazzoni needs to understand that trying to steal a Presidential Election, while ignoring a pandemic, with new cabinet members every week, is not easy. Some things are bound to fall through the cracks. Let him try to steal a Presidential Election is he thinks it’s so easy.
