Trump is like Superman in comparison to the crypt master Joe Biden who can barely walk.  It's painful to watch his old man routine when he gets off the helicopter and tries to walk toward the White House.  It's sad that his family would allow him to run for office with his obvious physical and mental limitations for their own monetary gain.  But those chickens are coming home to roost.  Hunter's next job will be making license plates with Avenatti.

More projection and a fake conspiracy theory from you.

Joe Biden jogs and rides a bike. Donnie was too feeble to walk down a ramp two years ago needing assistance.

Not a good day so far for Donnie as he moves one step closer to prison.

Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg just announced that his criminal case against Donald Trump is ongoing, and that new evidence is involved. This comes immediately after NY AG Tish James ramped up her related civil probe today by moving to hold Donald Trump in contempt of court.

Manhattan DA drops a bombshell: Trump criminal investigation is still ongoing

It's not over: Donald Trump could still face criminal charges, says Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg issued a statement on Thursday clarifying that his office was still investigating former President Donald Trump.

"In recent weeks, the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office has been repeatedly asked whether our investigation concerning former President Donald J. Trump, the Trump Organization, and its leadership is continuing," Bragg said. "It is."

Bragg's statement comes after two top prosecutors resigned from his office, alleging that the investigation of Trump and his business had stalled.

Mark Pomerantz, who led the New York investigation into Trump's finances, resigned on February 23 along with Carey Dunne, the other lead prosecutor on the case.

Pomerantz's resignation letter said that he had quit over the decision by Bragg not to move ahead with prosecution of the Republican billionaire.

That decision, he wrote in the letter, was "contrary to the public interest."

"The team that has been investigating Mr. Trump harbors no doubt about whether he committed crimes -- he did," Pomerantz wrote.

The Times reported that he has told aides the case can move forward if new evidence emerges or a Trump insider decides to turn on the former president.

But, Pomerantz wrote: "No events are likely to occur that will alter the nature of the case... There are always additional facts to be pursued."

But the decision not to prosecute "will doom any future prospects that Mr. Trump will be prosecuted for the criminal conduct we have been investigating," he continued.

Bragg, however, denied the claims that he had effectively halted the criminal investigation.

“It’s open, it’s active, we have a great team in place of dedicated career prosecutors working every day,” Bragg told Bloomberg on Thursday. “We’re exploring evidence that’s not been previously explored. We will leave no stone unturned.”

Read Bragg's full statement below:

In recent weeks, the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office has been repeatedly asked whether our investigation concerning former President Donald J. Trump, the Trump Organization, and its leadership is continuing.

It is.

There have also been questions about the timing of the grand jury. As anyone who has worked on criminal cases in New York knows, New York County has grand juries sitting all the time.

There is no magic at all to any previously reported dates.

The team working on this investigation is comprised of dedicated, experienced career prosecutors. They are going through documents, interviewing witnesses, and exploring evidence not previously explored. In the long and proud tradition of white-collar prosecutions at the Manhattan D.A.’s Office, we are investigating thoroughly and following the facts without fear or favor.

The team is led by Susan Hoffinger, Chief of the Investigation Division. Susan has decades of experience as an Assistant District Attorney and a defense attorney, including New York State grand jury and trial experience, which are crucial for this investigation.

High-profile, complex investigations have been trademarks of my professional career.

As a state prosecutor and a federal prosecutor in the Southern District of New York, I successfully brought cases involving money laundering, witness tampering, mortgage fraud, official misconduct, and bribery. And, I went wherever the facts took me, prosecuting two mayors, a city council member, an FBI agent, a former Senate Majority Leader, a District Attorney, and business executives.

Indeed, litigation involving the former president himself is not foreign to me. As the Chief Deputy at the New York State Attorney General’s Office, I oversaw the successful litigation against the former president, his family, and the Trump Foundation.

These experiences shape my approach and the investigative steps that the team is hard at work on. Prosecutors fulfilling their duties cannot and do not bring only cases that are “slam dunks.” To the contrary, every case must be brought for the right reason – namely that justice demands it. That’s what I’ve done throughout my career, regardless of how easy or tough a case might be.

I understand the public desire to know more about our investigative steps. But, the law requires secrecy during an investigation. It is a felony in New York for a prosecutor to disclose grand jury matters. And for good reason.

Doing so can create problems for cases and investigations, the individuals involved, and the criminal justice system. It can affect witness testimony or even lead to witness tampering. Unauthorized public disclosures also potentially can affect a defendant’s right to a fair trial.

While the law constrains me from commenting further at this time, I pledge that the Office will publicly state the conclusion of our investigation – whether we conclude our work without bringing charges, or move forward with an indictment.

In the meantime, we will not be discussing our investigative steps. Nor will we be discussing grand jury matters.

In short, as we have previously said, the investigation continues.

Donnie isn't having a good day.

Trump could be charged $10,000 per day after NY AG files motion to hold him in contempt of court

New York Attorney General Letitia James is asking the court to begin issuing fines to former President Donald Trump while he delays producing documents subpoenaed by the court.

James on Thursday asked a court to hold Trump in contempt for refusing to comply with a court order to produce the documents.

"The judge's order was crystal clear: Donald J. Trump must comply with our subpoena and turn over relevant documents to my office," James said in a statement. "Instead of obeying a court order, Mr. Trump is trying to evade it. We are seeking the court's immediate intervention because no one is above the law."

The $10,000 fine would apply to every day that Trump doesn't produce the documents.

"This court’s order was not an opening bid for a negotiation or an invitation for a new round of challenges to the subpoena," wrote assistant attorney general Andrew Amer in the court documents, according to The Daily Beast. "The ship has long since sailed on Mr. Trump’s ability to raise any such objections."

"The Trump Organization is not presently searching any of Mr. Trump's custodial files or devices, and has no intention of doing so between now and April 15, 2022," James' office wrote in the filing.

The Trumps have repeatedly tried to shut down the investigation by James, who has said she had uncovered "significant evidence" of fraudulent or misleading practices at the Trump Organization.

Following more than two hours of oral arguments, state judge Arthur Engoron rejected a plea by Trump, Donald Jr and Ivanka, to quash subpoenas issued by James in December.

He ordered the trio to sit for depositions with James's office within 21 days.

Their lawyers argued that the subpoenas in the civil case were an attempt by James to grab evidence for a parallel criminal investigation into the Trump Organization that she is involved with.

They argued that James was trying to bypass a New York state law that grants immunity to witnesses that appear before a grand jury in criminal cases.

Engoron said their argument "completely misses the mark," noting that neither the Manhattan district attorney, which is running the criminal investigation, nor James's office have ordered the Trumps to appear before a grand jury.

In his ruling, Engoron added that the Trumps could invoke their Fifth Amendment right not to incriminate themselves during questioning in the civil case.

He noted that another of Trump's sons, Eric, had pleaded the fifth "more than 500 times" during a deposition for James's investigation in October 2020.

Engoron also rejected Trump's claim that the inquiry by James, a Democrat, is politically motivated.

And Donnie's day gets even worse as he is hit with a triple whammy. The DOJ can easily nail Donnie on this illegal act. Who knows if he was sharing sensitive classified Intel with our enemies including Putin.

DOJ appears ready to launch a probe into Trump for bringing classified documents to Mar-a-Lago

Former President Donald Trump was caught taking 15 large boxes of documents from the White House to Mar-a-Lago when he left the White House, it was reported in February. The National Archives sent a team to Palm Beach, Florida to collect the truck-load of information it discovered was missing last summer.

What was uncovered, however, is that Trump didn't just take any old documents, many of them were reportedly top-secret and classified information relating to national security.

The Washington Post reported Thursday that the Justice Department appears poised to begin an official probe into the removal of the documents. Sources familiar with the probe spoke about the ongoing investigation, saying that it was in the early stages. It's unknown the degree to which the Justice Department has made its way through the boxes seized at Mar-a-Lago. There are people who may have witnessed the documents being removed or may have been involved in it, but thus far it's unclear whether the DOJ has reached out to any witnesses.

The revelations came from House Oversight chair Rep. Carolyn B. Maloney (D-NY), who alleged on Thursday in a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland that the DOJ was blocking her committee from looking into the boxes from Mar-a-Lago. In fact, she used the word "interfering."

If the DOJ is doing their own probe, it might be why they're refusing to turn over anything to Maloney and her committee currently. She wrote in the letter that she wants an explanation for why they are blocking her request.

“The Committee does not wish to interfere in any manner with any potential or ongoing investigation by the Department of Justice,” Maloney explained in the letter. “However, the Committee has not received any explanation as to why the Department is preventing NARA from providing information to the Committee that relates to compliance with the [Presidential Records Act], including unclassified information describing the contents of the 15 boxes from Mar-a-Lago.”

The FBI is refusing to comment on whether an investigation exists.

Over the past weeks, officials have called on the Justice Department to do more in investigating Trump and his family's role in Jan. 6. In a series of speeches before voting to hold Peter Navarro and Dan Scavino in contempt of Congress, members of both sides specifically highlighted the recommendations to the DOJ.

Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) told the DOJ that they should “not apply any doctrine of immunity that might block Congress from fully uncovering and addressing the causes of the January 6th attack.” Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-CA) explained that the Jan. 6 committee was doing its work and that “the Department of Justice needs to do theirs.”

You are still hung up on Trump trying to walk carefully down a steep ramp with no handrail when we have the crypt master in office?  How is this for someone needing assistance:
