Has anyone noticed that Sweden's daily number of new COVID-19 deaths has been nearly flat since the end of July--indeed, for the last 2 weeks it's been in single digits. Panic peddlers still expend pages and pages to try to explain away Sweden's sharp drop in daily new deaths.

Sweden has never mandated masks, has not closed high schools and elementary schools, and has kept most of its businesses, including restaurants, open.

Sweden's COVID-19 crude death rate is 0.058%, 17 times lower than 1%. By comparison, Belgium, which imposed a severe lockdown early on, has a crude death rate of 0.086%.

I assume then you’ll be moving to Sweden rather soon? Buh bye!

Two things appear important in determining death rate.

1. Don’t overwhelm your public hospital system. I spent last weekend in hospital and they are running full capacity. We have no active cases in my state. I hate to imagine the impact of significant cases on our resources.

2. Keep it out of aged care homes. I believe this is what Sweden managed to do well eventually.

Looks like they are not even half way to herd immunity.

Sweden is not the United States and cases here are ravaging the United States. The death toll is increasing. The new projection is 400,000 deaths by January 1. That's nearly a half a million people.

Even Faux Propaganda confirms Donald Trump hates our military and soldiers. This orange Person needs to resign now. We can't have a "President" who hates our military and worships Putin.

Not sure where you get your information, but Sweden has been a complete disaster. Their numbers are worse than those of Norway, Denmark and Finland combined. A few days ago, the guy in charge of the pandemic in Sweden admitted on Dutch television that he got it wrong.

They went for herd-immunity and it failed completely. Why, because those who were once infected, can still get infected again after they recovered the first time.

The thing you fail to understand is that the largest part of Sweden is empty of high populated areas, which made it just as difficult for covid-19 to reach rural areas as in some states.

But your comparision with Sweden is pointless anyway, as America, with only 4% of the world's population has more than 25% of all cases. With that in mind, who cares about Sweden?

The hoax that has yet to magically disappear has so far left 185,752 dead, including the brave souls who died trying to save them.
You're lying!
I have a source saying it's 185,871.
