The New York Times report on Trump's financial " issues" is quite informative.
He's personally responsible for $421 million in loans, one of which, for $100 million on Trump Tower, is interest only, and comes duein 2022 or 2023.
Basically, Trump is extremely " leveraged", and his golf courses/resorts have been - and continue to be - big money losers. As the article also mentioned, Trump has asked for loan payment postponements; if Trump is reelected, banks may be put in the awkward position of needing to sue a sitting president for loan repayment, judgements, and possibly foreclosure.
Also, Trump's tax write offs are questionable,  and possibly illegal, especially the $71 million he received in federal tax reimbursement, which is the subject of a long running dispute with the IRS.

Anyway, please read the article.

As a quick comparison, my city to Travis county Texas as they have almost equivalent populations.

Travis county total cases 29073, ours 468. Travis county deaths 420, ours 4.

Our restrictions were not particularly severe. We had no mandatory mask wearing here and it was not prevalent. There were travel restrictions between states and some still exist. Victoria had an outbreak a few months ago and had increased restrictions including masks and curfew. Their total cases now down to less than 20 daily. Kids have generally been back at schools for months. Apart from travel restrictions and a bit of voluntary social distancing life pretty much normal for a few months here.
Thank you, Mr Crow.
Obviously, AU had certain advantages, being - basically- a large island, and a small population, in terms of density. Perhaps, with fewer points of entry?, it was easier to control any influx of infected individuals? However, the majority of the population does seem to be clustered in small areas with high density, so perhaps the density overall is unimportant?
Did the government do more effective testing, contact tracing than that of Travis County?
Were citizens more respectful and cooperative than those in the U?S?
Does a large percentage of the population believe that Covid 19 is a hoax?
Thank you.

No concern that someone's personal tax returns - protected under the law - were illegally provided to the NY Times and published just a day before the debate?  Wow.  Talk about a deep state.  Stealing someone's tax returns and publishing them for political purposes.  Talk about fascism and the rule of law!  Hopefully someone goes to jail.  And what do they tell us?  LOL.  That Trump has done nothing illegal as conspiracy theorists have implied for years.  And he used the tax laws (created by politicians like Old Joe) to his advantage as a means to limit his tax liability.  What a shock!  Good for him. He is no different in that regard than any other person in his income bracket.

No more than the concern you should have about two Republican hacks publishing a "report" full of wild unproven, out of context and debunked allegations against Hunter Biden and his dad without a shred of evidence, just days prior to a debate.

He is no different in that regard than any other person in his income bracket.

His income bracket seems to be below zero. He seems to operate a kind of pyramid scheme with loans to keep his businesses afloat! He is a fraud and that's the guy running the country?.......

Btw, "Richard" why aren't you ranting anymore about the stockmarket? Oh wait, did the damned thing collapse because of Trump's mishandling of covid-19?..... Let me guess, it's the Democrats fault, right?

Right wingers are idiots. They pay through the nose and let this criminal avoid paying taxes. This tax fraud and his criminal family are done. They are all headed to prison where they belong.
