Trump didn't do anymore than any other President would have done. Pfizer partnered with Germany’s BioNTech two months before Warp Speed, joining the program only as a potential supplier; no funding for research. The US-only Johnson & Johnson vaccine is not that good..

So they should have mutely accepted what happened to George Floyd?

Masks were effective. For example: no large outbreaks on Navy capital ships and Army bases vs. Trump super-spreaders (remember anti-masker Herman Cain). See ie: Effectiveness of Mask Wearing to Control Community Spread of SARS-CoV-2, JAMA ( Link )

Democrats didn't think that mask-wearing and health-based business precautions should be political. It was the Republicans who tried to turn it into election bait.

Pretty sure the guy who was reminded to wear a mask and instead wiped his nose on a Dollar Tree employee was Republican.

At that time, a third of Americans wouldn't take the vaccine if offered by election day. Some said they wouldn't take it if it was solely-based on Trump's word. The pampered-child who whipped his mask off at the White House after being cured by wealth-care, and who linked child vaccinations with autism.

What does George Floyd have to do with this?  He was murdered in the socialist utopia of Minnesota.  Run by libs for decades.  Minneapolis has been run by libs forever.  If there is some racism issue in Minnesota, it has nothing to do with Trump.  When I said the dems were consumed with racism it was in association with the laughable claim that blaming China for the virus was racist.  The virus came from China.  There is nothing racist in that fact.  If the masks were effective, then they were of very limited effectiveness.  The states with the most stringent mask requirements had the highest number of cases and deaths.  It was never a solution to the pandemic to wear masks or socially distance.  The only real solution was the Trump vaccine.  The one that Old Joe and Kamala cast doubt on because it was developed under Trump.

Minnesota Democrats created Derek Chauvin and racist attitudes among Minneapolis police?
  • Chauvin is a registered Republican in Florida (he has a second home there)
  • Lt. Bob Kroll (head of the Minneapolis police union) and others wore
"Cops for Trump" T-shirts while on stage with Trump at a rally in Minneapolis
  • Half of Minnesota's Congressional Representatives are Republicans and
the State Senate is majority Republican
  • Clinton barely won the state in 2016 with a 1.52% margin
  • A Natonwide poll reported 46% of Republicans thought the Chauvin verdict
was wrong; Tucker Carlson compared the treatment of Chauvin to lynching

There is no "Trump vaccine". Among Western countries, Britain had a better plan and beat the US in making a vaccine available. The first vaccine made available in the US took no funding for research from Wrap Speed. Kamala said she wouldn't take a vaccine if it was solely-based on Trump's word. You know, Trump, who termed "an important voice" a doctor who claimed sickness was caused by dream-sex with witches and demons. She also said masks didn't work.

'It was never a solution to the pandemic to wear masks or socially distance'
Who said wearing masks and socially distancing were ever meant as the solution?

So it's all or nothing, huh. Great plan!

Well so much for the 'Golden Era' thread, uh.........

Hey, remember the time Fetzer and Wecht got into a  little contretemps on the stairs at one of those 'Conferences'.  Any video of that extant?

Pointing to other loons isn't much of a defense of the charge that there are loons. It's like the Oswald defenders here who want to talk about the actions of others instead of explaining his actions.

How about, both groups are acting loony?

Except, that isn't what happened...  Richard, and an alarming number of others are irresistibly attracted to Trump, drawn to him involuntarily by an authoritarian, "vibe".

Judge Says Barr Misled on How His Justice Dept. Viewed Trump’s Actions

Judge Amy Berman Jackson said in a ruling that the misleading statements were similar to others that William P. Barr, the former attorney general, had made about the Mueller investigation.

A federal judge in Washington accused the Justice Department under Attorney General William P. Barr of misleading her and Congress about advice he had received from top department officials on whether President Donald J. Trump should have been charged with obstructing the Russia investigation and ordered that a related memo be released.

Judge Amy Berman Jackson of the United States District Court in Washington said in a ruling late Monday

that the Justice Department’s obfuscation appeared to be part of a pattern
https://www.nytimes.com/2020/03/05/us/politics/mueller-report-barr-judge-walton.html
in which top officials like Mr. Barr were untruthful to Congress and the public about the investigation....

Spin it anyway that you want.  The Dems and media spun a fake story that Trump colluded with the Russians to win the 2016 election.  They spent three years on that wild conspiracy theory.  After years of investigation there was zero evidence of this.  Instead the media desperately tried to conflate unrelated "links" between folks who worked on Trump's campaign and Russia with the fake collusion theory to fool the rubes who weren't paying much attention.  If, for example, a Russian was in attendance at a conference that a Trump official attended, that was characterized as a link with Russia.  But that is past history.  How about the gas prices, inflation, crime, shortages, hacks, Middle East chaos, illegals pouring across the border, Kamala embarrassing herself before the US military, mounting debt....
"mounting debt" LOL! Where ya been, bucko?

National debt was increasing by just $56 billion each month until Trump signed tax a partisan passed tax cut bill that cut corporate tax (35 percent max. to 22 percent) and personal tax rates for those ten percent wealthiest Americans who own 84 oercent of stock shares.

https://treasurydirect.gov/govt/reports/pd/debttothepenny.htm

So, Richard, you exhibited not the slightest concern when the monthly debt increase almost doubled between
October 1, 2017 and February 26, 2020, on the eve of the pandemic!

Not a newspaper with a reputation for endorsing ANY democrat for any office.:

 Our choice is Joe Biden*
Oct 25, 2020
...Since Trump took over, the national debt has exploded by more than 7 TRILLION dollars. While the last several trillion was in response to the COVID-19 economic crisis, at least the first three trillion was on the books well before the pandemic, while Trump was presiding over “...the best economy we’ve ever had in the history of our country.” (Trump’s words.)

The layman would expect that the best economy in history would be a time to get the fiscal house in order, pay down debt and prepare for a rainy day (or perhaps a worldwide pandemic). The real tragedy of this scenario is that the runaway spending under the Trump administration has flashed dollar signs in the eyes of Capitol Hill Democrats. Trillions in unchecked spending has them clamoring to birth the social programs of their dreams...

And here we go.

One side says Trump is God, he's the savior of the Republic and the other says Trump is a merciless monster who was Putin's Manchurian candidate.

It never ends.

Not fair or accurate, misleading, in fact? Why do it? Why encourage or further embolden even more criminal obstruction? Unless you are partisan why presume to have a better understanding than the judge who wrote this 41 page opinion, has seen the redacted versions of the documents she describes, and also presided over the criminal trials of both Manafort and Stone, sentencing both on the brief end of the maximums they were facing, despite their acts of obstruction, perjury, and Stone's threat of someone shooting her, all after both had been charged?

The reaction of a second federal judge, Reggie Walton
March 4, 2020 :

Judge Calls Barr’s Handling of Mueller Report ‘Distorted’ and ‘Misleading’

"The judge said the attorney general lacked credibility on the matter and said he would review the report to decide whether to make its redacted portions public...

...Mr. Barr could not be trusted, Judge Reggie B. Walton said, citing “inconsistencies” between the attorney general’s statements about the report when it was secret and its actual contents that turned out to be more damaging to President Trump. Mr. Barr’s “lack of candor” called into question his “credibility and, in turn, the department’s” assurances to the court, Judge Walton said.

The judge ordered the Justice Department to privately show him the portions of the report that were censored in the publicly released version so he could independently verify the justifications for those redactions. The ruling came in a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit seeking a full-text version of the report..."

So Trump is responsible for the hiring, training, and oversight of the Minneapolis police department because this officer was allegedly a republican!  HA HA HA.  Even CNN didn't try to pull that one.  Minneapolis is run entirely by libs.  It has been run by dems for decades.  And again, that situation has absolutely nothing to do with anything that I said.  As I've stated several times now the "racism" claim relating to the pandemic was that Trump shouldn't say that it came from China.  If the vaccine had been developed under Obama, they would have given him the Nobel Prize.  Downplaying Trump's advocacy and role in the development of the vaccine is just another example of bias and double standard.
