Here’s a link to a video of an amazing feat:

No, it isn’t a Carcano. Yes, it took quite a few rounds to get things dialed in. However, it was 1.27 miles to the target, and no scope. And Jimenez had a physical condition (twice broken neck) that prevented him from shooting a rifle without his right arm going numb (unless he used a lead sled to help only with reducing recoil).

Hickey wasnt at 2240 yd, he was at 9 yd, when he accidentally put an AR15 slug into JFK's brain.
Hickey's shot was i reckon a Guinness world record of sorts.
He shot a President, out of season, without a permit.

It wasn’t accidental. The umbrella man’s duty was to catch the ejected cartridge. His umbrella had a super sticky compound applied to the outside of it. And the empty cartridge simply stuck to the umbrella so he could retrieve it without drawing any attention to himself and prevent the empty cartridge from being found and used as evidence against Hickey.  8)   ;) ;)

The price of a rifle is not an assurance of high quality,....The swiss have always manufactured high quality rifles....

So simple because the old rifle was purchased for less than $100 does not mean it is a poor quality rifle.

And the big heavy bullet is an indication that it will fire accurately at long range.....
