Inflation is a global problem and is happening all over the world due to the pandemic and Putin's war in Ukraine. Anyone who claims it's only happening in the United States due to "Biden polices" is a liar. Biden has nothing to do with inflation as almost every country on every continent is dealing with high inflation rates. Most of these countries have record high inflation.

Ex-conservative walks through how Trump's election criminality is bringing down the Republicans too

Washington Post columnist and former conservative Jennifer Rubin responded to the second day of public hearings from the House committee investigating Jan. 6 by tying the Republican Party to Donald Trump's criminality.

One of the things the committee pointed out is that former President Donald Trump was already spinning false election fraud claims months before the election. The evidence presented by former Attorney General Bill Barr, and acting AG Jeffrey Rosen, Fox editor Chris Stirewalt and Bill Stepien made it clear that the 2020 election not only wasn't stolen but that there was nothing Trump could do to change the results.

"All this leads to the conclusion that Trump was so adamant not to acquire the 'loser' title that he furiously sought confirmation of specious allegations," wrote Rubin. "Finding none, he was willing to burn down the system to keep power. This is not delusion; it’s intentional destruction of American democracy."

There are those who think that Trump was "so nuts" that he didn't believe every adviser, lawyer, judge or anyone else around him trying to explain that he lost.

"If that’s the case, what is the excuse for election deniers such as House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy?" asked Rubin. "If Trump is deranged, Republicans bear an even greater responsibility for the mayhem and continued threat to democracy. Presumably, they can process facts and accept the findings of the Trump inner circle, the courts and Republican secretaries of state that there was no fraud rendering the election illegitimate."

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) has been caught swinging one way to the other about the so-called "big lie" and the attack on Congress that followed. After McCarthy was talking about removing Trump through the 25th Amendment, he rushed to Trump's side for a photo-op.

McCarthy, like Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), knew that the so-called election fraud was fake, but continued not just to placate Trump but prop him up in public and call the election into question.

As the 50th anniversary of the Watergate scandal is approaches, Rubin wrote that once again a president is being "revealed to be a huckster. Financial fraud seems to be [a] promising lead to follow."

After all of the testimony on Monday, Rubin concluded that no reasonable person could agree that there were doubts about the 2020 election.

"Trump never had evidence of fraud. And he was willing to destroy the country to stay in power when he lost. That’s an indictment for the Republicans who continue to support him.

Herschel Walker Mocked Over False Claim He Was FBI Agent: 'Humiliating Lie'

Georgia Republican U.S. Senate candidate Herschel Walker has been widely panned following a report that he falsely claimed to be a police officer and an FBI agent.

Walker claimed in 2017 that he was with the Cobb County Police Department in Georgia, but the department has now told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution it has no record of him working there

His campaign said he was an "honorary deputy," but the police department could not confirm this. Walker also falsely claimed to have been an FBI agent in 2019 despite not being an agent, though he participated in a week's training at the FBI's school in Quantico, Virginia.

The former football star reportedly told an audience in 2019: "I spent time at Quantico at the FBI training school. Y'all didn't know I was an agent?"

Social media users slammed Walker, with many accusing him of being a liar. Walker is running in the Senate race against incumbent Senator Raphael Warnock, a Democrat.

Occupy Democrats, a group that supports progressive Democrats, tweeted that Walker "must suspend his campaign after he was caught in a humiliating lie as it was exposed that he falsely claimed to have worked as a police officer and even an FBI agent."

"Herschel Walker is the first person I've seen who actually lies more often than Donald Trump. Makes sense that they love each other so much," tweeted Matthew Sheffield, founder of media platform Flux and who describes himself as "post-conservative."

Walker was endorsed by former President Donald Trump in the Georgia Republican Senate primary and some Twitter users highlighted that connection.

Bakari Sellers, former member of the South Carolina House of Representatives, shared The Atlanta-Journal Constitution's story and tweeted: "He may literally be the only person who lies more than Trump."

Comedian Steve Hoffstetter wrote: "Herschel Walker, after falsely claiming to have been an FBI agent, said 'Y'all didn't know I was an agent?' No, we didn't. Because you were never an FBI agent."

"Herschel Walker lies so often I'm starting to wonder if he ever played football," Hofstetter added.

Anthony Michael Kreis, a law professor and political science at Georgia State University, tweeted: "At this rate, it appears that the only title Herschel Walker has failed to falsely claim for himself is Miss Georgia World 1976."

"Herschel Walker is simply one of the worst candidates for major office any of us will ever see," wrote Simon Rosenberg, founder of liberal think tank New Democrat Network.

"Herschel Walker just can't stop lying," tweeted Jon Cooper, former Long Island campaign chair for former President Barack Obama.

In the past, Walker has falsely claimed to have graduated from the University of Georgia as well as wrongly saying he was high school valedictorian and that he had founded a charity for veterans.

Walker had also made headlines during his primary campaign for questioning evolution and asking "why are there still apes?"

Newsweek has asked Walker's campaign for comment.

President Biden @POTUS

Under my plan no one making less than $400,000 per year will pay a penny more in federal taxes.

But we’ll no longer have a situation where 55 of the largest corporations in America pay zero in federal income taxes on $40 billion in profits.

The fact is we’ve got about 790 or so billionaires in America.

You know what their average tax rate is? About 8%.

I believe that no billionaire should be paying a lower tax rate than a teacher, a firefighter, an electrician, or a cop.

Ask yourself: How well are you going to sleep at night knowing that every five years Ted Cruz and other Congressional Republicans pushing ultra-MAGA policies are going to vote on whether you’ll have Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid?

That’s their plan.

We’re not going back to the false promises of trickle-down economics

We’re going forward to an economy that works for everyone.

The simple fact is the entire world is fighting global inflation. Republicans and the right wing media like to lie pretending the United States is the only country with inflation. Other countries have much higher inflation than the United States.

1)The US has led the world on economic recovery.

2) The US is in the “middle of the pack” fighting global inflation.

We’re fighting global challenges, but we’ve had the best response.
