And your point is?

Who cares about the opinions of Joe Rogan and some firefighter. There will always be individual cases where something is wrong.
Nepotism is all around us, but that does not negate the fact that the true purpose of DEI is to give minorities who are in fact qualified for a particular job a fair chance.

In the real world DEI policy is ensure, that when you have two persons who are equally qualified for a particular job, and one of them is a minority, the minority applicant gets a fair treatment!

Geez, you have fallen hook line and sinker for this leftist BS! How often in the real World are two applicants "equally qualified", that is completely stupid and you fell for it, explains a lot actually!
But let's just say that in magic fairyland that two applicants are "equally qualified" then according to DEI principles, the minority applicant automatically wins, how is that fair?

Don't shoot the messenger, listen to what she says, it's sick!

It's more than isolated individual cases, you clearly don't understand.

You clearly have not a shred of knowledge about hiring people.

But let's just say that in magic fairyland that two applicants are "equally qualified" then according to DEI principles, the minority applicant automatically wins, how is that fair?

"automatically wins"? Who said that?

DEI is about preventing nepotism, racism and discrimination based on ethnic backgrounds.

But perhaps that's exactly the reason why you are against DEI....

Why am I not surprised that you ignored the last sentence in my post;

I'm tired of your arguments for argument's sake.

These people have been radicalized by a decade of endless leftist propaganda.  It boils down to this.  Anything that Trump does is evil.  Anyone who does not condemn him is a Nazi.  Logic, common sense, or facts cannot dissuade them of this fantasy.  Many - like Martin from "Europe" - appear to hate America and prefer to put the interests of illegal immigrants and foreign countries over those of America because Trump does the opposite.  The level of hatred and violence by the left is frightening.  Many are completely obsessed with Trump and Musk.  They are assaulting people for having contrary views, vandalizing cars, and throwing Molotov cocktails.  College professors are attacking their own students for exercising free speech in support of Republicans.   These radicalized leftists support violent anti-American and anti-Semite terrorist organizations like Hamas whose operatives threaten Jewish students on American campuses.   Domestic terrorism.  It's sick.

The fact that I was experienced enough to make that statement clearly went over your head.

Thanks for the copy and paste that reinforces my point, the "minority applicant" automatically wins.

Huh? Like I said in my first post, I want the best applicant regardless of colour, ethnicity or gender!

   You guys in the ever diminishing DEI Camp need to be reminded that YOU are in the Minority. Just like the POTUS Election. You cavalierly label the Majority as being inna "cult", but in reality YOU are the member of a Cult that continues getting smaller and smaller. This is what happens when you confine yourself inside the Echo Chamber. Even Bill Maher has exited that Echo Chamber. And he's gone so far as to have a "sit-down" with Trump. Your "cult" shrinks daily. And the juvenile profane tantrums only accelerate this mass migration.
