I thought I remembered reading that Allen Dulles attended some of the pre-funeral services and/or was in touch with the family during the weekend. I couldn’t remember where I read that. It could have been in one of Clint Hill’s books or elsewhere.

I take it then there is no official correspondence from the farm acknowledging Dulles was to arrive there, or correspondence afterwards acknowledging the visit had to be cancelled due of the assassination and perhaps rescheduling for a later date. This in itself raises some eyebrows that this this intended visit was in an official capacity at all. Either that or Dulles was having an affair or something and "the farm" was a euphemism for something else he was planning to do that weekend.

Why Dulles was so close to the CIA after he was fired is strange enough.

Also, the CIA hasn’t been honest or straightforward about much relating to the JFK assassination. The lack of confirmation isn’t convincing.

If Dulles had been involved in the planning of the JFK assassination, JFK would have died of old age.  Look at Castro.    There is also zero evidence that he had anything to do with the assassination.  He makes a good boogeyman for the CTers, however.  Cue sinister music.

That's interesting. I wonder what family members he gave his condolences to?

I've read all of Clint Hills books. I don't remember hearing that before but maybe it's in one of those books.

I could be wrong Gerry. My memory isn’t the most reliable one around. But I do seem to remember Allen Dulles’ name appearing in relation to all the activities of that weekend. I am thinking that it was most likely Clint Hill’s first book “Mrs. Kennedy and Me”. But I think that my copy of it is currently being read by my sister-in-law. So, I cannot look this up.
