In the Zapruder film, the people standing to the left of the Stemmons Freeway sign are (from R to L):
Sharon Simmons (tallish; wearing a medium-blue headscarf)
Gloria Jean Holt (strawberry blond)
Stella Mae Jacob (self-described American Indian)
"June" Dishong* (worked at a company a few blocks away)
Peggy Burney(?) (Abraham Zapruder's Assistant)
Jean Newman
Ernest Brandt (wearing suit and hat)
John Templin
Gloria Calvery (big-tall, glasses-wearing, dark red hair; worked at South-West Publishing Company in the TSBD)
Karen Hicks or Carol Reed (they both worked at South-West Publishing Company in the TSBD; in the Z-film, the gal wearing the white blouse / red skirt was later the "Running Woman" in Couch-Darnell)
Carol Reed or Karen Hicks (see above)
Karen Westbrook (tallish; wearing a dark dress or raincoat and a very light-blue scarf; worked at South-West Publishing Company in the TSBD)
. . . . . . .
*Mrs. Dishong wrote down her recollections after the assassination.
The following is an excerpt:
"12:15 Better put on my jacket it might be chilly although the sun is shining bright. WE go down the elevator at the back of the building and across the corner down the sidewalk in front of the Texas book depository and about 30 feet [?] beyond the corner. The sun is warm. I’ll take off my jacket we might have quite a wait for the president’s car. I look back up the mall. The grass is green, and the shrubbery is orange and brown foliage and is beautiful in the bright sunshine." [emphasis added]
Don Roberdeau wrote this about Dishong:
"DISHONG is seen in the ZAPRUDER film standing along the Elm Street north curbline, just east (Z-frame leftward) of the "Stemmons" freeway sign. She is the fourth person to the frame-apparent left of the sign, with darker, somewhat short hair, wearing a blouse with red and blue plaid stripes, and a dark colored skirt. (in her diary she estimated that she was 30’ from the corner -- which I took to be the Elm Street curving abutment corner between Elm Street and the Elm Street Extension road-- but DISHONG’s family has confirmed to me that she pointed herself out to the family in a "Life" magazine they still have that she said she was the 4th person seen to the left of the Stemmons Freeway sign in the Z-film)."
