The son of Billy Sol Estes recently released audio tapes that his father had retained for years.  Cliff Carter, President Johnsons chief advisor revealed that LBJ hired Mac Wallace to assassinate JFK.  I've always felt that the Texas angle was overlooked by investigators. I was in Texas in 1963 and had relatives in Dallas. The early buzz was that "Johnson did it".   The Kennedy brothers were not going to put up with Johnsons drunk, power hungry ass for a second term and LBJ was headed for disgrace and possibly prison. I don't think LBJ was the kind of person who would lose a nights sleep over offing his boss. Mac Wallace had been involved in a number of murders that eliminated LBJ's legal problems and his fingerprint was allegedly found in the school book depository. Glen Samples "Loy Factor" series spells out the entire plot and to me it is pretty solid.  Cliff Carters own words seem to confirm it.

Audio from" The Rick Burgess Show" as seen on You Tube

With the caveat that Robert Morrow is a card-carrying LBJ-did-it fanatic, here is a discussion at the Ed Forum: https://educationforum.ipbhost.com/topic/31081-breaking-news-cliff-carter-who-was-a-close-friend-of-lbj-from-1937-1971-thought-lyndon-johnson-murdered-jfk/

You will note that even some of the most reputable CTers express skepticism. Pat Speer, whom I highly respect, dismisses it as "almost certainly fake."

One perspective I have that many others don't is my L-O-N-G involvement in other areas of weirdness. Just taking the 1947 Roswell "UFO crash," you would not believe how many bombshells like this have gone poof. Films, videos, hard evidence, seemingly sane people with no obvious agenda telling highly convincing whoppers. Some of the very best researchers have been led astray for YEARS before they had to admit the embarrassing truth. I really don't know why people pull these stunts, but they DO - again and again.

My philosophy these days, across the board, is "fake until unequivocally proven otherwise." Too many sincere researchers have been burnt too many times to have any other philosophy.

It almost sounds as though "LBJ Did It" and UFO-ology, etc, etc, etc, is intended to get us so confused we don't know what to believe it.

Fox's Roger Ailes learned that sort of mind control strategy from Vladimir Putin's "guru," Vladislav Surkov, back in the 1990s, iirc.
