Come on, "Martin." I think you've been pretty decisively outed. Maybe just put "Tom" back in his cabinet and get on with your "Martin" thing?

I rest my case and now return to statesmanlike ex-seminarian mode, although I don't think "Martin" or "Tom" will be hearing much more from me, statesmanlike or otherwise, because I find this all just so weird as to be almost scary.

I fully agree that it is utterly idiotic for a "level headed ex lawyer" to jump to conclusions based on foolish and weak assumptions.

Btw, who am I talking to now; Lance Payette or John Mytton?

See what you have done? You've got me wondering again about who and what you really are.

Holy cow, what have I waded into?

I now find from 2022 an extensive debate as to whether "Martin" is or was one "Otto Beck." How many others have there been?

Sorry now I even opened this can of worms because you, Martin/Tom/Otto/Whoever are too much for me.

Sock puppet to your heart's content if it makes you happy, Martin/Tom/Otto/Whoever.

Nice try at deflection. Lance Payette, for better or worse, is a real person who can be found on the State Bar of Arizona website, in numerous reported state and federal appellate decisions, in at least three fiction pieces in Arizona Attorney magazine, and in numerous legal publications and news articles. He does not require a fake name or sock puppet. I have no idea why John Mytton chooses to use a fake name, but if he creates a sock puppet and starts slinging inane insults at me I will look into the matter.

Yes, I know. I've already checked. The question is; is that really you?

John Mytton is an historical figure from the Regency period. He didn't choose to use a fake name. Somebody claiming to being an Australian uses his name.

Knowing the guy who calls himself "John Mytton", it is strangely surprising he has stayed out of this conversation while being on line on this forum.

Btw, why are you getting so defensive?

Thanks for the laugh, David.

Poor "Lance" actually believed he was on to something and ended up making a complete fool of himself.

Oh, golly, did I? I hadn't noticed. Is that the conclusion you really think those who read this thread are going to draw? Come on, you're not actually delusional as well, are you?

Let me be blunt: I have no doubt whatsoever that the venomous character who poses as "Martin" is in fact the venomous character who poses as "Tom."

(John Mytton, be sure to let me know if you are, in fact, Lance Payette because I'm going to have to get that straightened out with my wife and the State Bar.)
