Thanks, I forgot about Otto and his $100,000 challenge to prove that he wasn't Weidmann! Ya gotta laugh.

And here's another couple of classic quotes.

Weidmann "As my old Law Professor used to say"
Roger Collins, "I'm a Lawyer"

You can't make this stuff up. :D

JohnM

Do you have evidence that Roger Collins isn't a lawyer?

Or in Martin/Roger's case, apparently, you CAN make this stuff up! If he (they?) is a lawyer, it would have to be in some alternate universe.

On the Ed Forum, Jon Tidd - a fellow Arizona lawyer, for God's sake - got banned for repeatedly suggesting I wasn't actually a lawyer. He would pose weird little legal questions, like a bar exam, to see if I could answer them!

Let's continue this game, "Martin" and "Tom." If I pose a couple of legal questions, will you take a stab at them?

Lee Harvey Oswald walks into the TSBD and slips on a banana peel, causing the package of curtain rods in his hand to discharge a 6.5 mm pellet into the groin of fellow employee Charles Givens. Givens staggers into fellow employee Vicki Adams, causing her to tumble into the stairwell and descend two flights of stairs on her ample posterior. Whereupon, TSBD head honcho Roy Truly, who is involved in an illicit affair with Miss Adams, punches Givens and rushes to the aid of his paramour. Deeply concerned by these events, Oswald gets a coke and exits the building, robs a Circle K, and hails a taxi. Discuss the issues.

OK, I'll stop. I'm about to wet my pants as is it. This thread has exceeded my dreams. You've been a great audience.

That's only because you rather foolishly think you are right, when in fact you are not.

Is Tom a lawyer?

Only you would know that, eh? Ask him next time you're sitting on the loo together, mate.

I did forget: "Martin" recently asked me how I could be sure he wasn't a lawyer, so apparently this is a running "Martin" gag.

You know Roger better than me, ask him?

This is starting to become almost theological: How many "Martins" can dance on the head of a pin? (In the Middle Ages, how many angels could dance on the head of a pin was a genuine theological question.)

I prefer: How many "Martins" can sit on the loo at the same time? It fits the tone of this thread better. So far, we have Martin, Tom, Otto and Roger, unless I'm forgetting someone already.

Come on, Martin, you're loving every minute of this.

"Martin" claims to be from "Europe" yet is apparently ignorant of the metric system.  He claims to have relatives who died in the Holocaust yet espouses bizarre anti-Semitic Nazi-like beliefs like Trump's daughter is not a real Jew because she "converted."  He falsely claimed Hitler had Jewish relatives as part of his nutty anti-Semitic rant.  He is one of two contrarian nuts on this forum that I refuse to address.
