I was sent a link to this FB post but I don’t see any substance to it. Just a bunch of conjecture and innuendo. Sort of like reading a CT book but much shorter. Am I missing something here?

This is the old "JFK was going to dismantle the Federal Reserve" claim. As you pointed out with that Heinlein quote, you can persuade people by appealing to their existing prejudices much more easily than by using logic and facts and reason. We still are, after these thousands of years of evolution, basically animals. We have to fight our animal instincts, this Darwinian tribalism deep in our DNA.

I don't know who first said it but it's always good to repeat: The assassination is a Rohrschacht test, a mirror, a reflection. What people see in it tells us more about them, their worldview, than it does about the event itself. It's why we have so many wild and varied conspiracy theories. You'd think after all of this time there would be a merging of theories, a narrowing of the narrative so to speak. But we don't. This is because people are projecting their grievances, their prejudices onto the event. If you have 100 different grievances you will have 100 different explanations as to who was behind the assassination.

Okay, thanks Steve. So, contrary to what the author would like us to believe, there is no new smoking gun document that was “leaked”? I read a few of the comments for kicks. Sadly, most people appear to accept this as being what the author would like for them to believe. Just another example of (as you pointed out) people would apparently rather believe what their predjuces make them “feel” than in reality…
