James Reagan Venable was the Imperial Wizard of the National Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, one of the many Klan groups active in the United States in 1963.

Lee Harvey Oswald was one of Venable's men.

Robert Marvin Shelton, the Imperial Wizard of the United Klans of America knew that Oswald worked for Venable and tried to pin the blame for the Birmingham Church bombing (which his group had done) on Oswald.

General Edwin Walker's window was "shot out" by Oswald and his Carcano rifle.  Edwin Walker was Venable's proposed leader for a unified KKK and John Birch society merger.  Shelton was opposed to Venable's merger idea and wanted to keep his group seperate under his leadership.

Lyndon Johnson was identified as a member of the Original Knights of the KKK by Ned Touchstone.  The Original Knights were one of the Klaverns that joined Venable's National Knights in the beginning of 1963.

Haroldson Lafayette Hunt, the oil billionaire, is identified in Soviet investigations as the man behind the Kennedy Assassination.  Walker and Venable both received significant financial backing from Hunt, and he was the main financier behind LBJ, as well as the John Birch Society in general.

There is a handwritten note from Lee Oswald written to "Mr. Hunt" on November 8th 1963 asking to clarify his position.  This note was confirmed to be Oswald's handwriting.

The Dallas police in the 1960s was heavily infiltrated by the John Birch Society and according to H. Theodore Lee.  Patrolman Tippit was the leader of the JBS in Dallas, met with Oswald in Jack Ruby's nightclub, and was the one who killed Kennedy. (Ruby denies that Oswald was in his nightclub in 1966).

According to modern ballistic analysis, the first shot that wounded Kennedy and the Governor came from Oswald's position on the 6th floor of the Texas Book Depository, but the fatal headshot came from the direction of the Dallas Police building.

Immediately following the death of Kennedy, Tippit and Oswald meet up in the Oak Cliff neighbourhood of Dallas on the corner of 10th and Patton.  Oswald immediately murders Tippit (Oswald was not a suspect of the police and Tippit was just getting out of his car) indicating that eliminating Tippit was also part of the plan.

Oswald is then eliminated by Jack Ruby.  Jack Ruby later stated in 1965 in a press conference that there was more to what he did than he could say.  The care he takes to select the precise words to say, trying to say that there's more to this but he clearly cannot say anything in his own defence.

Ruby's account of the death of Oswald. (as he is dying of cancer, states that he walked down the police ramp and shot Oswald, initially states that he happened upon Oswald by accident then states he knew exactly when Oswald would be moved).
