I was going to post this on the discussion of the straight line thread since the location of JFK's back wound would be an important element I have heard the claim that Humes himself probed the back wound and found it to be just a couple on inches deep. Further there are reports that when the magic bullet was found at Parkland arrived at Bethesda it was assumed that it was the bullet from this superficial back wound  Dr Frick, a pathologist who worked on the autopsy at Bethesda, and who testified at the Clay Shaw, testified  "  I did not dissect the track in the neck" To paraphrase further he states all the pathologists were under orders not to probe the neck and back wounds so from my perspective there is zero evidence these two wounds are even connected to one another
