Years ago it was widely claimed that Joseph Milteer, a white supremacist, could be seen standing on Houston Street watching JFK drive by. Has that rumor been debunked or confirmed? I haven't seen anything about it in years.

"There has been speculation that a right-wing extremist named Joseph Milteer can be seen amongst the crowd lining Houston St. as the motorcade drove by moments before the assassination. If that is the case, possibly ["former" Communist] Harold Isaacs was also photographed nearby."
