I've brought this thread over to the General Discussion and Debate as it might be important.
I lifted this pic from Robin Unger's gallery:

Does anyone know the ID of the man on the far left who appears to be behind the glass.
I thought he might be a TSBD employee but I can't think of anyone to fit the bill.
Is he an unidentified male in the TSBD in the immediate aftermath of the assassination?
I've no doubt somebody somewhere has identified him, I'd just like to know.
Here's a close up:

After looking through some more Allen pics I found this.

The guy in the TSBD seems to be wearing a white, short sleeved shirt.
Could it be this guy being led away by an officer?
-
Great.
So we've got an unidentified white male
Possibly about 30
Possibly about 160 pounds
Possibly 5'9"/5'10"
Light coloured/white shirt.
In the TSBD in the immediate aftermath of the assassination but not an employee.
A potential assassin but nobody knows who it is.
Assuming the man being taken away by the officer is the same guy. How do we identify him?
What kind of officer is it escorting him away?
He doesn't seem like regular DPD.

FWIW.....I think you're right and the man being led away is the man who was behind the glass window.
I doubt that he was a TSBD employee but beyond that I have no clue ... .
The way the blood vessel on his neck is standing out ....I'd say that his BP was elevated.....

Honestly Walt, if it is the same guy and he's unidentified I find that truly extraordinary.
The depth of the trivia and minutiae people get into over this and there might be an photographed unidentified potential assassin in the TSBD in the immediate aftermath of the assassination...
My attempts so far at trying to get some sort of ID are focussed on IDing the officer.
I believe the sew-on badge on his arm is this:
(https://i.postimg.cc/gctLQ2nL/Screenshot-33.png) (https://postimages.org/)
I can't make out the badge on his chest.
He might be something to do with the county jail or something weird like railroad police.

Again FWIW, The man with the Badge looks like a security guard from an amusement park or something. ( He doesn't appear to be a bona fide law enforcement officer.) He doesn't seem to have arrested the young man ( no handcuffs) But he does appear to be leading the man away from a building ( the TSBD) that the DPD had designated as a crime scene.
It's possible that both men were involved in creating the "crime scene" or in some way, ...but that's a WAG.
Wish I could be more helpful.

Dan, the boy in the white-shirt is widely believed to have been assassination witness Robert Edwards, and the man with him is presumably an employee of the Dallas County jail, I.C. Todd, who ran across the street to help out after the shooting and who then helped out in front of the TSBD.
-
Yep....Edwards

Cheers Pat, it was bugging me that he wasn't a TSBD employee but was in the building.
I figured there was no way this hadn't been dealt with.

Was the bow tie standard issue Dallas County Sheriffs Office uniform? Or perhaps it was Todd’s answer to the white cowboy hats that the DPD homicide detectives wore? :-X

The guy sitting in the entrance is not Edwards. Robin's post shows an alder man with glasses.

Not sure who you mean Colin.
I don't see anybody "sitting in the entrance".
Are you talking about the older, portly gent framed by the doorway, grey hair, wearing glasses?

The guy looks like a truant officer.....
Why were they detaining the kid inside the TSBD? Was he in the TSBD and was caught in a place where he had no business being?

Here's another Allen pic that possibly shows Edwards before being escorted away. White short-sleeved shirt top right of pic:

You can see the man in the white shirt being led away by the older man in this Youtube vid at 7mins 45 sec in.

Great find William.
Looks like the exact moment the photo is taken of the two men.

Edward Shields?
Mr Charles Givens said he watched the P. Parade at Main and Record with Messrs James Lacy and Edward Shields. However, his 11/22/63 affidavit makes no mention of Mr Shields, only of Mr Lacy ("a friend who works at the parking lot").
Question! When did Mr Givens first include Mr Shields in his account?

Sidebar!
Mr Shields told the WC he went down to his buddy James Tracey at the Classified Parking Lot every day at noon, and did just this on 11/22/63. Curiously, he didn't even know his good buddy's name--------it was in fact James Lacy.
