Because the TSBD was still a good concealed location to shoot from. Also dropping down from the elevators to the back provided quick escape route for both teams. In regards to bullet fragments you also assume no other type of bullets used had to leave fragments? This was a professional hit team and they will do what they can to eliminate bullets or fragments. IMO Connally's wrist injury to his left inside leg likely came from the west end of the TSBD.

If someone went to the considerable time and risk to link Oswald to a specific rifle for the purpose of framing him for the JFK assassination, why would they then use a different rifle fired from a different location to commit the crime?  Why not just link Oswald to whatever rifle was actually used to commit the crime?  It would be incredibly risky to use a different rifle.  The conspirators would somehow have to ensure that all the bullets and/or fragments that might be traced to a different rifle were recovered from the bodies or other sources and switched to match bullets fired from the Oswald rifle.  All that risk could be eliminated by using the rifle they intended to link to Oswald.

Bullet and bullet fragments.

…and your evidence that these bullet and fragments inflicted wounds in Kennedy would be…?

The question that begs an answer is who was the assassin, firing what rifle on the floor above BR Williams, Jarman, and Norman and was witnessed by Brennan if it was not LHO. In addition the carcano shells were discovered in that exact location.

No, the question that begs to be answered is why do you think it was LHO?

PS. Brennan did not claim to see a rifle being fired. At least, not in his WC testimony.

"Others who witnessed Fritz open the breech of the carcano have also said the the live round simply fell to the floor at Captain Fritz' feet .....   Big F--ing deal you say....  So What?
The fact that the bolt was not  latched and the live round simply dropped out of the carcano indicates that the live round was NOT served up to the face of the bolt by the cartridge elevator and the live round was not married to the face of the bolt.   The live round was NOT  EXTRACTED and flipped up and away from the rifle by the action of the ejector. ( it simple fell out of the rifle)"

The carcano is a controlled feed loading system. The cartridge could not help but be inserted under the extractor and then accordingly ejected by Fritz.

The cartridge could not help but be inserted under the extractor and then accordingly ejected by Fritz.

This statement is false!.....  I's very easy to drop a cartridge into the breech and slide the bolt forward....  HOWEVER the bolt will not latch because the cartridge is not married to the face of the bolt .....(IOW the lip of the cartridge is in FRONT of the extractor and not behind the extractor. )   And since Alyea's film shows that the bolt is not closed and LATCHED on the carcano as detective Day picks up the carcano up from the floor and holds the rifle up to Captain Fritz.......It's a sure bet that whoever placed the live round in the breech simply dropped that cartridge into the breech and shoved the bolt forward.

Matched to the rifle and found in the limo and at Parkland.

Who else but LHO? Funny place to store his rifle.

Brennan's first statement to the press was he saw him fire a second time.

Dallas Morning News SaPersonay Nov 23, 1964 ---- The Assassin Crouched And Took Deadly Aim by Kent Biffle
"After the first shot, I looked up and saw him. The gun was sticking out of the window. I saw him fire a second time. He was a slender guy, a nice looking guy. He didn’t seem to be in no hurry.”  said Brennan.

FBI Report 11/22
“…... He said the rifle was pointed in the direction of the President’s car when he saw it fired.”

Sorry I'm not even going to discuss anything to do with the Magic Bullet.

The only possible explanation for the wound in JBC's back is for the bullet to first pass through JFK. Hard to dispute one bullet struck both men.

Fritz stated he ejected the cartridge.

Mr. Ball.
After the pictures had been taken of the rifle what happened then?
Mr. Fritz.
After the pictures had been made then I ejected a live shell, a live cartridge from the rifle.

------------------------

The rifle fired two shots and the shells were ejected and the final cartridge loaded into chamber as designed. For what reason was a live round hand loaded into the gun?
