Constitutional rights versus the betterment of society. I shudder to think of people seeking medical advice from ?experts? on YouTube and elsewhere.

So you want to protect individuals from themselves by Controlling what they see/hear? "Fahrenheit 451" anybody?

You give entirely to much credit to stupid people. Example:  motorcycle helmet laws. Some states have them, some don?t. Studies show, helmets save lives. I rode a bike for some 30 years.  Would never ride without one.  Stupid people still do.  Same people seeking medical advice on YouTube.  Once again, anti-intellectual.

WTF? Surely, you can't be serious?

Walt is right though. YouTube is not violating anyone's constitutional rights with this.

So if we suggest that perhaps Google is trying to control the internet...that would be a conspiracy theory worthy of removal?  :-\

Geeeez ... I'm right when i'm being sarcastic.....   But when i'm presenting facts, I'm wrong....  Unbelievable.....

YouTube said in the post that the action is meant to "reduce the spread of content that comes close to ? but doesn?t quite cross the line of ? violating" its community policies. The examples the company cited include "promoting a phony miracle cure for a serious illness, claiming the earth is flat, or making blatantly false claims about historic events like 9/11."

So YouTube  execs think they are intellectually superior and need to protect us inferior  pissants......   Is this the kind of "land of the free" we crow about??
