Those are modern laws. You also cant order guns through the mail anymore. I don't think there was anything unusual about Oswald carrying a pistol.

I was crouching low and holding my gun in case any trouble came I wanted to be ready for it.

For a cop ready for trouble..why didn't McDonald just go ahead and shoot Oswald if Oswald indeed pulled a gun? Supposedly..Oswald was a cop killer--ready to kill another one.
McDonald wasn't the first cop there. Why did the other cops wait for him to show up before the big move was made? Who was the mysterious tipster?

Johnny Brewer lied. There was no announcement of a cop being killed or even shot until after Oswald had been arrested.

Again, you wrote that he stated in his affidavit/testimony about listening to KLIF. Where did he say this? I can't find it.
I'll offer - and try to find support for it - that a radio announcement of the shooting was broadcast well before 1:55.
Galbraith never did find this announcement on public radio because it doesn't exist.

It is of course completely normal for a cop to approach a suspected cop killer by simply walking up to him and asking him to get up out of his seat, right?

I mean, what would be the point of going up to a suspect with guns drawn, right?

Nonsense.... Texas didn't have concealed carry until 2015.
You obviously don't live in Texas.
And you can order guns through the mail if you have a FFL.

How did Warren Caster walk around carrying two rifles in boxes so?

That is a good question. You obviously cannot conceal a rifle [except for Lee Oswald who managed to make his alleged rifle disappear until he got up to the 6th floor with it..allegedly]
The carry stuff applies to pistols therefore.
One can walk down the street with a rifle here in Texas. However it will look quite suspicious and a patrolman will no doubt cautiously inquire...calling backup if someone looks like they are on drugs or something.

So if there was a Presidential motorcade in Dallas tomorrow, someone could just stand in the crowd with a rifle? Can it be loaded?

That would be [by contrast] a very mediocre question. Wise up.
