President Trump is everywhere these last few days firing up the crowd.  While Old Joe looks like some Soviet-era Premiere on the verge of death and trying to convince the masses that he is still breathing.  What a sight in those sunglasses.  I guess the sun hurts your eyes when you haven't left the basement in months.  Big mo is trending Trump's way!  It's going to be close in the electoral college.  A razor thin margin in a few states will decide the election.  Imagine if Trump overcomes the do nothing establishment politicians, relentless media smears, virus hysteria, fake Russian collusion, phony impeachment, crazy hate filled rage, and still wins?  No one else in our lifetime would have a hope in that circumstance.  But Trump may pull this out.

Scott should have stayed behind the lead shield....to many rems methinks.
Ha!  :)
Meanwhile, Texas has surpassed California in deaths. Oddly California has a population of 39 million, while Texas has only 28 million. California has a higher population density. What could possibly explain this " success" of Texas in controlling Covid? We Californians are humbled.

Good luck to Americans on defeating Trump tomorrow!

It's remotely possible Trump might get in but I'm going with the projections for Biden/Harris. Hopefully, McConnell and Graham will go down and the Senate will go blue. I'll be following tomorrow night's returns to see if those two lose, along with Collins and Murkowski, the two fence-sitters who go along with Trump anyway. The Senate turning is important.

I believe we agree Jerry  Thumb1:

74,000 cases in the U.S. 400+ deaths.
It's a weekend, so reporting gets complicated.
Tomorrow, election day, will be greeted with news of...70,000 ( or more) new cases, and many more than 400 deaths.

No Matter the Polling Method, Biden Is Ahead
Nate Cohn: "This morning, a big wave of polls showed Joe Biden with a clear lead. Nearly all of these were sponsored by major media organizations and conducted via live phone interviews. If you want to check out what we had to say about them, you can scroll down a bit farther on the page. TLDR: Biden’s still ahead by a lot.”

“This afternoon, we got a big wave of polls showing a very similar result, but by very different means. Nearly all were conducted online or by automated phone calls. Emerson, Ipsos, YouGov (here as part of the Cooperative Election Study) and SurveyMonkey are all fairly familiar pollsters with this approach…”

“I don’t want to get into the ins and outs of which methods might be best. What’s important: Mr. Biden seems to hold a significant lead, no matter the methodology

Biden Leads with Latino Voters by 2 to 1
Joe Biden leads Donald Trump among Latino voters by about a 2-1 margin days before the presidential election, 62% to 29%, according to a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Telemundo poll.

Final Forecast Shows Sweep for Democrats
Larry Sabato's Crystal Ball's final Electoral College ratings show Joe Biden at 321 electoral votes and Donald Trump at 217.

Democrats are narrow favorites to capture a Senate majority, 50 to 48 with two Toss-ups — the two Georgia races, both of which we think are likely to go to runoffs.

Democrats will net 10 seats in the House.

Biden Keeps Big National Lead
A new GW Politics poll finds Joe Biden leading Donald Trump nationally, 52% to 41%.

Final Polls Give Biden Big National Lead
The final USC Dornsife Daybreak Poll finds Joe Biden leading Donald Trump in the presidential race nationally, 53% to 43%.

The poll confirms that the presidential race “has remained stable — despite the chaotic backdrop of an election season coinciding with a global pandemic, racial unrest, continued economic uncertainty, corruption allegations and a president infected with the coronavirus.”

Why Trump Fears Losing
In unguarded moments, Mr. Trump has for weeks told advisers that he expects to face intensifying scrutiny from prosecutors if he loses. He is concerned not only about existing investigations in New York, but the potential for new federal probes as well.”

My Electoral College Prediction

Joe Biden will easily win with 369 Electoral Votes and Donald Trump will have 169.

Biden will take Nebraska 2, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.

Donald Trump will narrowly retain Texas and Iowa.

Democrats will come away with 54 Senate seats and gain 12 House seats.
