So many words and disinformation.  Bottom line - no invasion under Trump.   Total war under Biden.

Bottom line – no war under Buchanan. Total war under Lincoln.

Bottom line – no war under Hoover. Total war under Roosevelt.

Bottom line – no disastrous defeat of the main British army under Prime Minister Chamberlain. A very great defeat of the B. E. F. under Churchill.

How much of the disastrous defeat of the B. E. F. in 1940 was the result of Chamberlain’s policies in the last 1930’s? Quite a bit, I think.

Now, for the present day, how much was the invasion of Ukraine set up by Trump?

Was withholding aid to Ukraine in exchange for a possibly bogus case against Hunter Biden something that helped show Russia our resolve to support Ukraine?

Was praising Putin and other dictators helpful?

Despite a request from a newly elected President Zelensky to have President Trump or at least Vice President Pence attend his inauguration, to signal Russia our support for Ukraine, this was denied. Other European heads of state attended the inauguration but this was of no importance to Trump. Was this helpful?

Question for Richard Smith

Who do you think President Zelensky of Ukraine would have wanted to be President right now? Trump or Biden?

Can you make a case that he would prefer Trump?

Do you seriously claim it would be Trump? Would President Zelensky have wished we at least had a President who would point out how smart and savvy Putin is upon the start of the invasion of Ukraine?

The first claim is a complete lie.

No it is not. Nice try.

I just posted these documented Government statistics in my last post debunking your false claim. And you call it a "lie". :D :D :D

Government data and FBI statistics taken from 2019 and 2020 does not lie. The results speaks for itself. The worst homicide rate in U.S. history occurred under Criminal Donald in 2019/2020 and he left that disaster for Biden to deal with. Then people like you falsely attack President Biden for the high crime and murder rate that Criminal Donald caused. Absolutely pathetic!

Provisional data from the CDC's National Center for Health Statistics, released early Wednesday, suggest the homicide rate for the United States rose 30% between 2019 and 2020. It is the highest increase recorded in modern history.

Researchers noted that provisional data on gun-related deaths also increased last year, climbing from a rate of 11.9 firearm deaths per 100,000 in 2019 to 13.6 per 100,000 in 2020 -- a 14% increase.

The FBI released its annual Uniform Crime Report for 2020, showing that the number of homicides increased nearly 30% from 2019, the largest single-year increase the agency has recorded since it began tracking these crimes in the 1960s.

The second is somewhat true but only if you are referencing the invasion that occurred under Obama/Biden.  How silly is it to note that Putin "threatened a full invasion the entire time" under Trump when no such invasion ever happened?  LOL.  Ukraine and Russia have a long, complicated history that goes back hundreds of years.  Do you hold Trump responsible for that as well?  The bottom line is that the "full invasion" occurred on Biden's watch.  Not Trump's.  If Trump was some type of Russian "asset" as you have falsely claimed, then it would make more sense for Putin to invade while Trump was in charge.  He didn't.  He waited until a weak, senile person was elected and he took advantage of the situation.  No one has to believe my analysis or your disinformation, though.  The results speak for themselves.  They are facts that can be confirmed with your own eyes.  The invasion is occurring on Biden's watch.

More total BS: from you

Bottom line: The Russian playbook to take over the world was outlined since 1998 in "Foundations of Geopolitics". Criminal Donald did everything that playbook called for by making Russia stronger and the United States, Ukraine, and NATO weaker.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foundations_of_Geopolitics

Russia needed a stooge to take their side and to promote their propaganda. Donald Trump was a willing participant and did exactly that.

Criminal Donald took Russia's side over the United States on the world's stage in Helsinki. Criminal Donald gave Putin a free pass for hacking and interfering in our 2016 election. Instead, Criminal Donald, the GOP, and the right wing media pushed Kremlin talking points that Ukraine hacked and interfered in our election. That was an absolute lie. That was designed to weaken Ukraine and to embolden Putin to invade.

How Trump Sabotaged Ukraine
https://www.nybooks.com/daily/2022/03/11/how-trump-sabotaged-ukraine/

Trump doubles down on debunked Ukraine conspiracy theory
Nov 22, 2019

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump on Friday promoted a debunked conspiracy theory that Ukraine interfered in the 2016 election, a day after a former White House adviser called it a “fictional narrative” and said it played into Russia’s hands.
https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/trump-doubles-down-on-debunked-ukraine-conspiracy-theory

If Trump was some type of Russian "asset" as you have falsely claimed, then it would make more sense for Putin to invade while Trump was in charge.  He didn't.  He waited until a weak, senile person was elected and he took advantage of the the situation.

These are fake Kremlin talking points that Russia is using which the United States and our allies have debunked.

Here is more of Russia's playbook to take over the world written in "Foundation of Geopolitics".

"Russia showed in Estonia, and again in the United States in 2016, that exploiting the biggest divisions — national identity, immigration, race, inequality — causes the most disruption. The more one side loathes the other, the easier they are to manipulate."
https://www.nytimes.com/2019/09/06/the-weekly/russia-estonia-election-cyber-attack.html

Criminal Donald caused chaos and division through national identity, immigration, race, and inequality. He did what his puppet master Putin told him to do.

President Biden is not "weak". Not one of our allies or national security experts have ever made that statement. Criminal Donald, the GOP, and the right wing media tried to weaken President Biden by continuing to push election fraud lies every single day. They lie and say Biden didn't win the election and he is "illegitimate" which is a lie. All that does is give Russia a green light to continue to use that lie as a reason to invade.

Putin also could not invade Ukraine until the "Open Skies Treaty" was eliminated. What did Criminal Donald do after he lost the election? He pulled the United States out of the Open Skies Treaty which gave Putin the cover to pull out as well. That act allowed Putin to start his invasion and weakened Ukraine, the United States, and NATO.

Trump administration pulls out of Open Skies treaty with Russia
11/22/20

The Trump administration has officially withdrawn from the Open Skies treaty, six months after starting the process to leave.

The post-Cold War agreement was struck to allow nations to conduct flyovers of other allies in an attempt to collect military data and other intelligence on neighboring foreign enemies.

"I strongly believe that President Trump’s decision to withdraw from the Treaty is a violation of domestic law," the ranking member on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee said.

"The timing of your decision — less than five months before an election — is also suspect. Beginning the U.S. withdrawal from the Open Skies Treaty, without complying with U.S. domestic law or constitutional practice, is an obvious political maneuver in an attempt to bind a future administration,” senators wrote in a letter to Pompeo and former Secretary of Defense Mark Esper. “As such, we demand that you immediately discontinue your efforts to initiate the withdrawal process until Congress is provided with the requisite notification under the [National Defense Authorization Act], and the Senate has had an opportunity to weigh in on the withdrawal.”
https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/527056-us-withdraws-from-open-skies-treaty-with-russia

Notice what Senators wrote back November of 2020. "an obvious political maneuver in an attempt to bind a future administration".

President Biden's administration was the future administration that had to deal with this disaster of no longer having an Open Skies Treaty. Criminal Donald did that to sabotage Biden and alllowed Putin to invade by no longer having a treaty to abide by. Just another example of Criminal Donald being a Russian asset.

Criminal Donald, Putin's puppet even gave Putin 3 of our air force bases in Syria to help strengthen him. Everything Donnie did was to embolden Putin to invade Ukraine and make him stronger. But the lying right wing media and GOP politicians who helped Putin wants to attack President Biden instead.

The results speak for themselves.

Yes, 4 years of disaster with Criminal Donald as Putin's puppet allowed this invasion to occur. We can't forget how Criminal Donald handed over our U.S. bases to Putin making the United States and our allies weaker and the world less safe. A total disaster and we are now suffering the consequences.

US troops and their allies feel humiliated after abandoning their bases in Syria to be taken over by gleeful Russians

Russians Take Over 3rd U.S. Base in Northern Syria
12/6/19

Russia landed attack helicopters and troops at a sprawling air base in northern Syria vacated by U.S. forces, the Russian Defence Ministry’s Zvezda TV channel said on Friday.

The move comes after U.S. President Donald Trump abruptly ordered the withdrawal of U.S. troops from parts of Syria last month.

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-syria-security-russia/russia-lands-forces-at-former-u-s-air-base-in-northern-syria-idUSKBN1XP0XN

Russian Flags Over an American Base
Trump’s reckless Syria policy makes America less safe and empowers Putin’s Russia.

12/6/19
https://www.americanprogress.org/article/russian-flags-american-base/

President Donald Trump’s erratic policy shifts on Syria this fall have planted the seeds for new security threats to the United States and its allies—and Americans are noticing.

Trump’s erratic approach has broader implications for an unmoored U.S. foreign policy. It may not surprise many people that Russia has wound up as one of the biggest beneficiaries of this strategic morass. However, Russia is just one of several countries that has taken advantage of the United States under Trump.

Since coming into office, the President Trump has repeatedly submitted to Russian interests on the world stage. The president’s reckless decision to withdraw U.S. troops from northeastern Syria without a plan or coordination with partners on the ground has resulted in a humanitarian disaster and a strategic blunder. As discussed in a recent CAP issue brief, the decision and the subsequent Turkish incursion into previously Kurdish-controlled territories.

When historians look back on 2019, they will see that President Trump weakened America’s ability to address real security threats, such as terrorism, and opened the door for a continued expansion of Russia’s influence in the Middle East and beyond
https://www.americanprogress.org/article/russian-flags-american-base/

So this bogus claim from the right that Biden is "weak" and "Trump stopped Putin" is all total b.s. as we all lived through the 4 disastrous years of Criminal Donald being a Putin stooge. Donnie weakened the United States, Ukraine, and NATO just like his puppet master Putin told him to do. Those actions paved the way for Putin's Ukraine invasion because without Criminal Donald pulling out of the Open Skies Treaty and aiding Russia's efforts the invasion never could have happened. Donnie helped Putin achieve his goal and all his actions have made it possible and this was Russia's goal since 1998.

Not sure why this columnist should be "stunned". This is what the GOP is. This is what radical right wing Trump supporters believe in. They've called for lynching and violence many many times and even had a violent insurrection on January 6th. This is who they are.

Columnist stunned after Trump-endorsed candidate 'calls for a lynching' – but faces no backlash

Two equally scary things happened in Washington state politics recently. A Republican candidate running for Congress last week called for a Black man to be lynched and for judges and prosecutors to be shot. Perhaps even more outrageous, writes Seattle Times columnist Danny Westneat, is the fact that nobody in the state's body politic denounced the comments.

The call for vigilantism came from Republican Loren Culp, a former police chief in the state who failed in a previous run for governor. Culp is vying in the state's fourth Congressional district to unseat Rep. Dan Newhouse and has received the "total and complete" endorsement of former President Donald Trump. That's because Newhouse, a Republican, voted to impeach Trump following the deadly Jan. 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.

"Newhouse joined the Radical Left Democrats to vote for the Impeachment Hoax," Trump said in a written statement. "Unlike Dan Newhouse, who is absolutely terrible, Loren will never turn his back on Central Washington, or our Country."

Westneat writes: "If a candidate keeps saying extreme and hateful things, and isn’t disowned by his party, and meanwhile everyone else starts shrugging because we think he’s a nut or we’re worn down or we just can’t keep pace with the firehose of lunacy, well, that’s a case study of how something as rancid as a call for a lynching becomes politically normal.

"I suspect the only way to prevent violent words from party actors like this from eventually spilling over into actual violence is for Republicans themselves to finally take a damned stand against this virus in their own party."

Culp's tweet was his reaction to the arrest of a repeat offender who was charged with felony assault for shoving a 62-year-old innocent bystander down the stairs at a light rail station.

“Get a Rope!” he tweeted. “Not only for the low life scumbag who did this but for the worthless judges and prosecutors who continually let this happen by turning violent criminals back out only to make new victims.”

Then he followed up with: “No rope, firing squad and I’ll volunteer for it.”

Westneat concluded by asking: "Where is the state party on this, or GOP elected officials, or county party organizations? You all OK that one of your Trump-backed candidates is out there publicly calling for a lynching and for executing court officials?"

Criminal Donald is a loser and he is destroying the GOP. The January 6th Committee will be very interested in what Mo Brooks has to say about the new revelations in Donnie's treasonous coup attempt. When it's all said and done, Donnie will be behind bars for the rest of his miserable life.

Trump lashes out after GOP congressman spills the beans on new coup demands

Former President Donald Trump lashed out at members of his own party on Wednesday after being publicly accused of pushing for removing President Joe Biden by "rescinding" the 2020 election.

After Trump unendorsed Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) in his Senate effort, the far-right congressman made a huge accusation.

"President Trump asked me to rescind the 2020 elections, immediately remove Joe Biden from the White House, immediately put President Trump back in the White House, and hold a new special election for the presidency," Brooks alleged in a statement.

In an interview with ABC News, Brooks expanded his accusation to say Trump had repeatedly urged him.

“The word he used was ‘rescind,’” Brooks told ABC News. “We didn’t get into the details [of how it would work] because it’s legally impossible. And I explained that fairly promptly.”

Trump responded in a statement emailed to reporters.

"Mo Brooks was a leader on the 2020 Election Fraud and then, all of sudden, during the big rally in Alabama, he went 'woke' and decided to drop everything he stood for—when he did, the people of Alabama dropped him, and now I have done so also. The people get it, but unfortunately, Mo doesn’t," Trump argued. "As far as Mitch McConnell, I am not a fan and there’s been no harsher critic than me. He has been absolutely terrible, and very bad for the GOP. The sooner he leaves 'Leadership,' the better off the Republican Party will be."

Brooks then replied that Trump was suckered by McConnell.

"Let's get this straight: Donald Trump got played. Again. President Trump has let Mitch McConnell manipulate him. Every single negative TV ad against our campaign has come from McConnell and his allies," Brooks argued. "The people trashing our campaign to President Trump support or are paid by Mitch McConnell. I wish President Trump wouldn’t fall for it, but he has."

Who to believe you or my own eyes?  Results matter.  Not political bias or silly spin to cast blame for every problem in history on Trump.  Turn on the TV and tell me if you think Ukrainians think things are going better under Biden.  It was Biden's weakness and energy policy that emboldened Putin and put him in a position to invade.  Again, you don't have to believe me.  The results speak for themselves.

Take note that Richard Smith didn't answer a single question that Joe Elliot asked him. He went right back to his Kremlin propaganda talking points. Sad!

Tell me Richard,

Do you think Ukrainians enjoyed being sold out by Criminal Donald for 4 years?

Did Ukrainians enjoy having their military aid being denied by Criminal Donald for his own election scheme?

Did Ukrainians enjoy Criminal Donald and Republicans falsely accusing them of hacking and interfering in our 2016 election when it was Russia who did that? That was a Kremlin talking point which Trump and the GOP used giving Putin cover with an excuse and a green light to invade Ukraine.

Did Ukrainians enjoy Criminal Donald taking the United States out of the Open Skies Treaty which Russia then soon followed? That gave Putin a green light to invade.

Did Ukrainians enjoy 4 years of Criminal Donald making Russia stronger?

It was Biden's weakness and energy policy that emboldened Putin and put him in a position to invade.

What a joke. :D :D :D

President Biden showed no "weakness" to Putin. He rallied the world and our allies against Putin and is taking him head on.

Criminal Donald slobbered all over Vladdy and defended him over our own U.S. Intelligence in Helsinki on the world's stage.

Criminal Donald praised Putin and called him "genius" for invading Ukraine. Donnie called the United States and our allies "dumb" once again siding with Putin over the United States. Donnie is a traitor and a Russian asset. Putin is now slaughtering innocent Ukrainians and Donnie and the Putin wing of the GOP doesn't care.

Criminal Donald gave up 3 of our U.S. bases and handed them over to Putin. That is the ultimate weakness.

Criminal Donald couldn't even defend the United States over Russia's election hacking into our 2016 election. He defended and sided with Putin over the United States in Helsinki on stage. That is the ultimate weakness. Donnie then falsely blamed Ukraine for the hacking which is exactly what Putin wanted making the United States and our intelligence look weak.

Criminal Donald refused to block/sanction the Nord 2 Stream pipeline. That was Donnie's weakness, not Biden, who was not even in office. President Biden got Germany to stop the Nord 2 Stream pipeline. That's what you call strength.

Criminal Donald took the U.S. out of the Open Skies Treaty which weakened Ukraine, the United States, and our NATO allies. Putin wanted that and Donnie did what Putin wanted which allowed him to invade. Donnie is Putin's stooge Russian asset.

It was Biden's weakness and energy policy that emboldened Putin and put him in a position to invade

Biden was always taking on Putin. How is that "weak"? Criminal Donald spent 4 years appeasing Putin like Neville Chamberlain and we all know how well that worked out with Hitier. This is why we are in this mess today.

That is 100% false. Biden does not have a "weak energy policy". Biden has the best energy plan that was ever implemented according to experts.

Biden's clean energy plan would cut emissions and save 317,000 lives
A new report has found that a policy standard would be most effective to reach the goal of 80% renewable energy use by 2030

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2021/jul/11/biden-administration-clean-energy-climate-crisis

Yes results matter, and the results were that for 4 years, Criminal Donald did everything that his puppet master Putin asked him to do to which was to make Ukraine, the United States, and NATO weaker and to help Russia become stronger. That's why we are suffering the consequences of Trump's weakness and appeasement of Putin today.

Criminal Donald's own National security advisor, John Bolton, said Putin would have invaded anyway and Criminal Donald was going to pull the United States out of NATO to further help his puppet master Putin. So, Richard's fairy tale of Biden being "weak" and the culprit of Putin's invasion is total fiction.

Richard and the GOP wants to pretend the 4 disastrous years of Criminal Donald didn't exist. They want to lay the blame on Biden who took over right when everything was already on fire due to 4 horrible years of Criminal Donald. That's what you call propaganda.

Simply put, Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg needs to resign. We don't have time for Trump collaborators or those who cower in the face of evil and he is necessarily one or both. Criminal Donald needs to be prosecuted, tried, convicted, and thrown into prison for his multiple felonies. Nobody is above the law.

Another politically driven effort to prosecute Trump has failed because there was no crime.  Imagine if Trump suggested firing a DA because they failed to prosecute his political opponents.  It would be deemed the end of democracy.  The hypocrisy is astounding.
