Democrats: Hoping for elevated pandemic numbers.
Republicans: Hoping for riots.

Folks, their elections and attitude towards the poor who bear the burden are different than ours.

Democrats: Hoping for elevated pandemic numbers.

Really? Who in their right mind would want the pandemic numbers to increase?

Republicans: Hoping for riots.

Totally different matter and in fact correct. It fits right in with their so called "law and order" narrative and their classic fear mongering. Unfortunately some of the Democrats are stupid enough to play right into their hands.

Democrats. They've been scoring political marks citing the high numbers for months. Just like their supporters on this thread.

I see. Only Republicans desire bad things for political gain.

So, pointing out how the Trump administration has failed by just telling the truth about the actual numbers is somehow the same as "hoping for elevated pandemic numbers"?

Can you seriously say that the Republicans are not hoping for riots?

Thanks for your contributions, Mr W..

I must confess, we Democrats in California seemed to have "dropped the ball" in following through on our " hopes " for " elevated pandemic numbers". California's per capita covid death rate is a mere 44 per 100,000 residents, while Republican led Texas is at 63, and those Floridians are at 78. Obviously, Republicans are also hoping for ( and creating) elevated pandemic numbers to ..make Pres. Trump look bad...?? They must be ...actual Democrats masquerading as Republicans? Why of course.

We Californians- Democrats need to stop with these restrictive measures, and liberate our state. Personal sacrifice, especially suffering and death, must be encouraged. Long term hospitalization, protracted and incomplete recovery, these simply won't get the job done. Our hopes can be achieved, but we can't keep " scoring political points " and "citing high numbers" if we don't start dying on a grand scale. Now, before the election. Remember: the virus will "disappear "on Nov 4th, and we won't have any grist for our mill.  Sad. :(

Thousands standing for hours in the cold to hear Trump.  While Old Joe and Obama have more Trump supporters at their rallies than anyone else.  HONK HONK!  LOL.  Old Joe is looking more and more like the corpse from "Weekend at Bernie's."  Stiff as a board, confused, muttering, and incoherent.  His family should intervene.  It's a sad show.  He won't last six months in the White House.

He will at least be in the White House (glad you agree), which means that Trump isn't anymore. That's a massive improvement.
