The Dow spiked not because Old Joe won but because the Dem blue wave did not materialize.  No one gives a rat's behind about the popular vote.  Just ask President Hillary.  If Trump wins in 2024, he wins.  Take it up with Thomas Jefferson while we move on.  I'm not sure I follow your point on the vaccines.   Who are these "other people" who funded it?  I would like to shake their hand if they have a solution to the virus.  Old Joe is watching Dragnet reruns while President Trump found a cure.

Did I say the Dow spiked because Joe was elected? It was coincident from memory and clearly after there would likely be no blue wave. Take away message was more anti Trump vote than anti Republican to me.

Obviously Republicans don’t care about popular vote as they have only managed to obtain it once in the last eight tries. I would be tempted to downplay it too given that success rate. Also the fact that the counties Democrats won account for 70% of US economic activity is an embarrassment for the party that prides itself on being the bastian of capitalism.

Those that developed the Pfizer vaccine were Germans. You can reach across the sea to shake. As I said, Trump found nothing other than others money to spend. Something I suggest he is expert at.

Any claim that it was "developed" under Warp Speed would be like going into a store and buying a coke, then claiming you invented it.

Mr Crow: which vaccine is Gov funded and which independent,  and which seems much more stable vs crazy refrigeration needs?
Thx.

P.S. Regarding our new, socialist USA: On Jan 20th, all radio stations switch to the playing, on a loop, of the "Internationale" ...until the "gusanos" have been expelled!

Hey John,
Modern is a mRNA vaccine, has been quoted as 95% effective, was developed under Warp speed, appears to only need normal freezer storage to remain effective.

Pfizer is also a mRNA vaccine, has been quoted as 90% effective, was not developed under Warp Speed, but doses have been bought by the Govt. It needs special freezer storage making it’s deployment likely more complicated and expensive.

Who would have thought that the majority of voting Americans would choose "socialism" in 20 of the last 32 years. Then again it seems you need someone to save the economy from the crises triggered by the economic experts.

Michael T. Griffith keeps fraudulently claiming coronavirus deaths are "dropping". That's blatant disinformation folks. Both deaths and cases are rapidly rising in every state because of Donald Trump and the GOP refusing to combat this virus. At the rate of increasing hospitalizations, many states are going to be maxed out and moron right wingers refuse to have lockdowns to stop the spread of infection.

Nurse says some patients deny COVID-19 is real, even as they die from it

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (NEXSTAR) – A South Dakota emergency room nurse says the patients "that stick out are those who still don't believe the virus is real."

These are the ignorant morons who were brainwashed by Donald Trump and the right wing media into thinking COVID-19 is a "hoax". That's why all this bogus disinformation is dangerous.

Thinking about the difference between Nixon's last days in office compared to Trump's I came across the following;

"White House Chief of Staff Alexander Haig also worried about suicide. A few days earlier, the despondent President and his Chief of Staff were alone when Nixon started talking about how disgraced military officers sometimes fall on their sword. To Haig, the Army General, Nixon said, “You fellows, in your business, you have a way of handling problems like this. Somebody leaves a pistol in the drawer.” Haig was stunned. Then sadly — bitterly — Nixon said, “I don’t have a pistol.”"

The difference, if Nixon did have a pistol he would have only needed one bullet. Trump would demand 78 million.

Indeed.

So much hatred and desire for things to collapse.  Sorry.  Trump found a vaccine.  Things will be back to normal soon.  Chin up though. Maybe next time more people will die in greater numbers under a weak octogenarian.  Keep hoping for the worst.

So much hatred and desire for things to collapse.

You really need to leave your brain to science when you die. I am sure it will be fascinating to find out which wires are crossed in there. The mere fact that you believe that anybody would have a desire for things to collapse is enough evidence that you are delusional. That's next level temper tantrum stuff. Nobody wants things to collapse. That's why Trump was voted out; to prevent it from happening.

Sorry.  Trump found a vaccine.

No he didn't. Science and research (two things Trump knows nothing about) produced two possible vaccines. As per usual Trump just puts his name on the work of others. He has being doing that all his life!

Things will be back to normal soon.

With Trump gone, it may take a while to clean up the mess he left behind, but after that, I agree, things will likely be back to normal soon.

Keep hoping for the worst.

You've got that backwards. You are the one who is hoping Trump will return to the White House in 2024. What could be worse than that?
