Will Trump receive two or more Nobel Prizes for the vaccine?  An incredible accomplishment.  Meanwhile Old Joe is still waving that mask around as the solution and making the baseless claim it will save over 100K lives.   How is that working in the states that already have a mask mandate?  Record high number of cases.  NY, Cal, PA and many other states have had mask mandates for months, but cases are soaring.  Thankfully President Trump found a solution so Old Joe can take a nap after Jan. 20.

Donald Trump had nothing to do with the vaccine he called COVID-19 a hoax and will be prison.

Every medical expert says masks will save lives and if everybody wore a mask we could contain the virus in 8 weeks.

More ignorance for you.

1,964 coronavirus deaths yesterday and Michael T. Griffith claims the death rate is "dropping".

Yesterday we had 173,768 new infections.

The medical experts were correct, they said by next week we will have over 2,000 deaths per day and over 200,000 infections and we are nearly at that number right now. Donald Trump has ignored this entire disaster and is killing more Americans.

Today 60 new deaths have already been confirmed and 4,102 new cases have been determined.

Covid-19 has killed 250,000 people in the US. That's 10 times the deaths from car crashes in a year

In less than 10 months, Covid-19 has killed more people than strokes, suicides and car crashes typically do in a full year -- combined.

The victims include an elderly father and his grown daughter who died within moments of each other. Two parents who died before their son's 5th birthday. In rare cases, even children with no known prior health conditions.

Health experts say if Americans don't get more serious about wearing masks and avoiding careless socializing, the rate of deaths will keep soaring this fall and winter.

US sees highest Covid-19 death toll in months as deaths top a quarter of a million

The United States saw the highest Covid-19 daily death toll in more than six months Tuesday, with at least 1,707 fatalities, according to data from Johns Hopkins University.

The coronavirus is now killing at least one American every minute of the day, bringing the country to another horrific milestone on Wednesday: At least 250,029 people in the country have died of Covid-19 since the first death on February 29 in Washington state.

And it's only going to get worse, said Dr. Jonathan Reiner, a professor at George Washington University School of Medicine.

"The horrible death count that we saw yesterday in the United States ... reflects the number of people who were being infected three weeks ago -- two to three weeks ago, because that's the lag," Reiner said Wednesday.

"On average, two to three weeks ago, we were seeing 70,000 to 80,000 (new) cases per day. Yesterday, there were about 155,000 (new) cases. So if you're alarmed at the 1,700 deaths today, two to three weeks from now, we're going to see 3,000 deaths a day."

Here are the most current COVID-19 stats for Virginia, my state of residence, the 12th most populated state (8.5 million). These stats are further evidence that a one-size-fits-all lockdown approach is not justified, and that there is no rational reason to keep our schools closed. Let’s look at the numbers by age group from the VA Department of Health’s website.

All Ages
Cases: 208,833
Deaths: 3,860
Death Rate: 1.86%
Survival Rate: 98.14%

Ages 0-9
Cases: 7,784
Deaths: 0
Death Rate: 0.0%
Survival Rate: 100%

Ages 10-19
Cases: 21,297
Deaths: 1
Death Rate: 0.0047% (far below the flu’s death rate of 0.15% to 0.25%)
Survival Rate: 99.9953%

Ages 20-29
Cases: 43,006
Deaths: 9
Death Rate: 0.021% (about 8-9 times *lower* than the flu’s death rate)
Survival Rate: 99.979%

Ages 30-39
Cases: 34,916
Deaths: 39
Death Rate: 0.026% (about 8 times *lower* than the flu’s death rate)
Survival Rate: 99.974%

Ages 40-49
Cases: 31,566
Deaths: 96
Death Rate: 0.305% (3.3 times *lower* than 1%)
Survival Rate: 99.695%

Ages 50-59
Cases: 29,335
Deaths: 271
Death Rate: 0.925% (still lower than 1%)
Survival Rate: 99.075%

Ages 60-69
Cases: 19,516
Deaths: 603
Death Rate: 3.1%
Survival Rate: 96.9%

Ages 70-79
Cases: 10,728
Deaths: 986
Death Rate: 9.2%
Survival Rate: 90.8%

Ages 80 and above
Cases: 8,997
Deaths: 1,848
Death Rate: 20.55%
Survival Rate: 79.45%

What age category (ies) would you "protect" in your model? What restrictions would you place on them? How would you protect them?

What about hospitalization rates?
What about long term damage to survivors?

That is simply a bald face lie about the vaccine.  I see you are still encouraging a "lock him up" mentality.  Something dems cried about for years when applied to Crooked Hillary as something that is done only in a banana republic by dictators.  No hypocrisy there.  If masks are so effective, then why are the number of cases now soaring in those states that have had a mask mandated for months?  Apply some actual logic to this issue.  Wouldn't the numbers be going down in those states instead of skyrocketing?  Wouldn't they be at least lower than when no one was wearing a mask?  Try thinking for yourself for once instead of just cutting and pasting endless reams of information like someone in the midst of a bizarre compulsion disorder.
