The U.S. COVID-19 death rate has now dropped below 2%. As of this morning, it is 1.92% (281,000 deaths/14.7 million cases). This means the average survival rate is 98.08%.
Yet, Democratic governors have learned nothing and are once again reflexively resorting to one-size-fits-all lockdown measures. Democrats still refuse--just refuse--to base their response measures on the readily available data that prove that for most Americans, COVID-19 poses either an astronomically low risk, a very low risk, or a low risk, depending on your age group. But Democrats simply refuse to consider this crucial, profusely documented fact.
Since Gov. Gavin Panic Newsom is re-imposing lockdown measures, let's take a look at California's COVID-19 numbers from the state's department of health website:
