This is the poll people need to be paying attention to. Almost the entire country 80% say the country is going in the wrong direction. This includes Republicans and Trump supporters. When the country is going the wrong way, people want change and that's why Biden is up by double digits in almost every poll.
People are sick, dying, lost their job, earn less wages and are worse off than they were 4 years ago. Donald Trump lied to his base. There's no wall, Obamcare is still here, no new factories were built, he didn't end all crime, never got a trade deal with Chy-na, didn't have a better economy than Obama, the GDP was never above 3 like he claimed it would be, manufacturing was in a recession since last September and is the worst in decades, he failed his biggest test to keep Americans safe from COVID-19, America has fallen below other countries, we have lost our standing as a leader, he attacks veterans, mothers, and Americans with tear gas.
There's no reason in the world to vote for Donald Trump. He destroyed our economy, made people sick and is just a phony reality show. Americans are worse off than they were 4 years ago and 80% of Americans all agree on that. 60% of Americans disapprove of Donald Trump and even if he shaves a few points off the 60% he still is going to lose in a massive landslide. It's hard to get 80% to agree on anything. But they see the failure Donald Trump who is not a leader and has destroyed millions of lives. The 51 million people out of work are not voting for Donald Trump, and neither are the familes and friends of the 150,000 dead. The 4.3 million infected along with their families and friends won't be voting for Donald Trump either when he called COVID-19 a hoax taking "no responsibility". When you are a President, it IS your responsibility to save Americans. Donald Trump refused to do his job. That's why he is going to lose in a massive landslide.
Poll: Country Is Headed in the Wrong DirectionAn AP/NORC poll out yesterday asked a different, but also relevant, question: "Is the country headed in the right direction or the wrong direction?" Only 20% said it is headed in the right direction and 80% said it is headed in the wrong direction. This is a record low for Donald Trump and an ominous sign for any incumbent. The graph below shows the answer to that question since Donald Trump's inauguration. Note how public opinion has cratered since March.
The poll also asked about Trump's handling of the coronavirus. Now only 32% think he is going a good job, another record low. On another topic, only 38% say the economy is in good shape, down from 67% in January. None of these numbers scream "Four more years."
