At one point, Mr Biden brought up his late son Beau, a military veteran who died at the age of 46 in 2015. The President treated it as an opportunity to attack his opponent’s other son Hunter, who is one of his favourite punching bags.

Set aside the President’s incredibly casual disregard for Beau Biden’s death.

In what universe could anyone think it acceptable to go after a candidate’s son, on a presidential debate stage, for his drug addiction? How could that possibly be relevant to the decision American voters have to make?

Mr Trump’s son, Donald Jr, went on air with conservative commentator Glenn Beck today and called Mr Biden’s son “crackhead Hunter”. Just in case you didn’t get his father’s point.

Idiot.  He was asked to condemn white supremacy.  In response, he said "Sure, I'm willing to do that."   If there were any doubt about Trump's position, however, he has clarified numerous times that he condemns white supremacy.  This is simply a fantasy of the crazies and fake media.  It's on tape for f's sake.  There is no reason to debate it.  Also on tape is Hiden mocking folks who work at convenience stores for having an accent.

There would be no need to "clarify" anything if he simply said "I condemn all white supremacy". Even the chief WH reporter of Fox News called him out on this one, as it would put this whole thing to bed, but Trump can't bring himself to say it. He is too afraid to lose his paranoid, extreme right wing, fear mongering, automatic weapons carrying, base, so instead he tip toes around it.
