I'm confused.

What else is new?

You were just saying Russia is close to "collapse."  But they are somehow a threat to "Europe." Get your warmongering narrative straight. You can't have it both ways.
If Russia is a threat to "Europe," they and Ukraine are free to fight on if that's what they want.

If given a respite, it can regroup. Da?

Isolationist that you are, it wouldn't have bothered you in 1939 when Hitler invaded Poland and shortly thereafter invaded Western Europe, right?

How about when you heard about the concentration camps?

Or do you think those were just another Snowflake Libtard Hoax?

PS Why did you put the word Europe in scare quotes . . . twice?

The US is finally putting its own interest ahead of those of others.

How is it in our interest to appease Vladimir Putin?

So profoundly stupid to suggest that we double down on the type of hopeless, endless conflicts of which the "history books" are full.  Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, and so forth.  All for nothing.  The history books also give us a lesson on how the first world war started.  A regional conflict that drew in the major powers through a series of alliances until the entire world was at war over places they had never heard of.  Sound familiar?  Trump is trying to stop that.  It amazes me that anyone wants the US to continue to fund an endless war with no plan or way for ending it.  Just on and on and on.

Who said double down? Who said I want war?
If Putin is such a friend of Trump why does he not get an immediate cease-fire?
Look at the AI analysis of the conversation - look at Zelinskyy's face when they suddenly pounce on him in real time.

What happened the other day is not good for anybody but Putin and Tass was invited there to report it.
It is further confirmation that our president is "in bed" with a murderous dictator.

Would it effect the U.S. negatively if mobbed-up fascist Putin or his successor were to invade Western Europe?

Depends what you mean by "effect". There's emotional/morally, and then there is the material. USA carries Europe and has dating back to WW1. Trump has always been an Isolationist. Energy Independent, greatest military in the world, Space Force, and now a Dome Defense. USA can stand alone if need be. Zelenskyy issa con man pocketing Billions/$$. Trump DOGE'd him for an accounting of the $350 Billion the USA has GIVEN him and he could NOT provide an account for it. Trump is a "bottom line" guy. If You can Not provide "receipts for expenditures" = "You're FIRED". This is the current status of Zelenskyy.

Trump's DOGE analysis is bullsh!t. He has yet to show any actual line item evidence.

The vast majority of Americans never wanted to be involved in any of these foreign conflicts including even WWII.  If Trump had a magic wand, he could wave it and right all the world's wrongs.  Unfortunately, he has to deal in reality.  That reality includes the fact that Ukraine cannot win a war with Russia.  At best, they can maintain a stalemate for years and hope for divine intervention.  That means thousands more dead and billions more sunk into a morass.  They are free to join with "Europe" and fight on forever, but the US is not going to bankroll it.  We have done more than our fair share.

Why should we reward a fascistic dictator who has invaded a West-aspiring sovereign democratic country?

Or do you agree with The Traitorous Orange Dude that Ukraine and NATO forced Russia to invade?

Bottom line.  There was an election. Trump won.  He is making the decision to stop the funding.  I agree with that decision.  The US has done more than its fair share.  Again, if Ukraine wishes to continue the war and "Europe" wishes to pay for it, they are free to do so.  Trump is not telling them to surrender.  There is no doubt that the presence of NATO nations on Russia's borders was one motivation for the invasion.  That doesn't make it right but the US would have done exactly same thing if Russia and China began to have a military presence in Mexico or Canada on our borders.
