Jackie, Jackie are you here?

What a sad spectacle to watch Old Joe asking if the deceased Rep. Jackie Walorski was in attendance at an event yesterday.  Someone who he expressed condolences for when she passed away a month ago.  He has really lost it.  It's frightening that a person asking for dead people is presiding over the country.  Classic dementia symptoms.  And he won't rule out running for re-election in 2024.  Imagine his mental state in another couple of years.  His family should intervene and protect him from further humiliation.  If Trump had asked if a dead person was in attendance at some event, the media would have howled for the 25th Amendment to be invoked.  It would have been the lead story for weeks.  But nary a whimper in the coverup of Biden cognitive limitations.

Actually, it is a pretty big story.

it's possible he didn't know Jackie Walorski very well. Even though he spoke about his condolences a month before, he would do the same for any of the 435 congressmen who had passed away. I think something like this might happen to a 40 year old.

Still, I now think the Democrats should and will nominate someone else for 2024. Too bad because I think Joseph Biden is a good and decent man, well above the average politician. And I will always be grateful to him for seeing the danger, deciding to run against Trump and beating him, possibly saving democracy. Although that remains to be seen.

Of course, Trump has many gaffs of his own. Like saying in a July fourth speech about how the Americans beat the British in the American Revolutionary War by "holding the airports". "Our Army manned the air, it rammed the ramparts, it took over the airports, it did everything it had to do, and at Fort McHenry, under the rocket’s red glare it had nothing but victory. And when dawn came, their star-spangled banner waved defiant."

Manned the air? Took over the airports? Rammed the ramparts? Man, that will dislocate some shoulders.

If an elderly man speaking nonsense should disqualify a man for running for President, than both Trump and Biden should be disqualified. But you are not logically consistent. To you it must be Trump. Someone who holds the same views as Trump will not do. It must be Trump because if he is elected, he will do whatever it takes to keep his regime (using his selected successors) in power, regardless of how future votes go. On that score, DeSantis is an unknown. So it must be Trump.

What are the Republicans long term prospects, giving the shifting demographics of America, if this is not done? If democracy is not subverted? Republicans, in the current form, might only have one more Presidential win in the future. And if so, that win must be decisive. It must be Trump.

Will they start distributing Ouija boards at Biden events now that he is seeing dead people?  Of all the sad sights during his administration, this one was hard to watch.  Anyone has to feel bad for him.  He is in obvious cognitive decline.  His family should intervene soon to spare him the humiliation.  Unfortunately, that would leave us with Kamala who, despite not having dementia, knows even less about what is going than Old Joe.  Her trip to S. Korea was downright bizarre.  She is dumb as a rock.

I remember Trump got the state he was in incorrect. He talked about the "oranges of the investigation". He said his father (who was born in NYC) was born in Germany (his grandfather was). Just gaffe after gaffe; the supporters thought it endearing.

I think Nancy Reagan was like an unofficial-President during Reagan's last two years as President. She would sometimes feed him words. He didn't enact any social programs for the poor or fix anything like immigration, so nobody much noticed as he served out his term as a figurehead.

If Trump were talking to dead people and struggling to figure out how to get off the stage at every single event, the media would be in an uproar claiming he had a stroke or brain tumor.  The story would run night and day suggesting that they invoke the 25th Amendment.  Trump once carefully walked down a slick ramp with no handrail and the media speculated that he had Parkinson's disease.  Some conspiracy theorists on this forum continue to make such bizarre claims.  I feel bad for Biden.  He was used by the radicals to get power because none of their nutty candidates could win.  They put up an old, white guy with dementia who they have used as a puppet.  The entire world is now suffering.

Many dead people over the decades have voted for Dems.  Particularly in places like Chicago.  So maybe Old Joe is just reaching out to his constituents.

The "seeing dead people" incident appears to be the last straw even among the few Biden supporters.  It is abundantly clear that he is suffering full blown cognitive decline.  Many radical leftists don't want him to run in 2024 and this is a very good excuse to undermine him.  They didn't mind electing an old, white guy who barely can walk and can't remember where he is on many occasions.  Anything to get rid of Trump in their opinion.  So the entire world has suffered disaster after disaster, but the light is at the end of the tunnel.  The Repubs will take the House and maybe the Senate back in a few weeks.  Enough to shut down the woke spending that has driven inflation and tanked the economy.  Too late for the millions who lost their retirement savings, but better late than never.

Maybe Old Joe was asking for Jackie Kennedy?  Oh wait, she is dead too.

Maybe Old Joe was asking if Jackie Chan was in the audience.  At least he is still alive even if his career is not.
