I have personally been involved and researched numerous conspiracy theories, from Moon Fakery right through to 9/11 conspiracies and you always see the same type of clueless conspiracy theorists, and most of these types, if not all, are here in this very Forum!
1) The paranoid conspiracy theorist who has failed at everything in life and blames the Government for their plight and are thus drawn towards every conspiracy where the evil government has "changed and altered" the course of history.
2) The angry conspiracy theorist, who just hates for the sake of hating.
3) The neutral conspiracy theorist who say they don't believe in taking a side but every word in every post promotes a conspiracy.
4) The vested interest conspiracy theorist, who is trying to promote a book/video and it doesn't matter how much science is presented or whether they believe it or not, he/she wants to be seen rejecting every logical explanation for their Looney theories.
5) The argumentative conspiracy theorist who is just here to play "devil's advocate" but this "game" is only from the conspiracy theorist side.
6) The "intellectual" conspiracy theorist who batters you with a wall of text which says nothing and then quotes a bazillion "scholars" who are giving opinions well outside of their chosen fields of expertise.
7) The not so intelligent conspiracy theorist who doesn't understand perspective, film alteration, photo analysis, etc etc, and then debates from a point of complete ignorance and simply doesn't comprehend that their arguments are seen as totally absurd.
