If there was a shooter positioned along the Picket Fence, I believe he would have been generally in the Badge Man position. Not where Skinny Holland et al places a shooter firing from the W-E picket fencing that runs parallel to Elm St. The major mistake with the placement of Badge Man is his being situated being Behind the picket fence. On 11/22/63 there was plenty of room between the picket fence and the trees/sprigs that run in front of that N-S section of picket fencing. A shooter could easily stand between the trees/sprigs and the picket fence and therefore be hidden from sight. Firing from Behind that picket fence would severely limit a shooter's escape route(s). The limited escape route(s) is why respected researcher Josiah Thompson was forced to place an escaping shooter, curled up, inside the trunk of a car to exit the parking lot. That visual is comic book funny.
When it comes to a credible witness of a shooter in the picket fence area, Gordon Arnold stands very tall. Arnold was no gad fly and did not go out of his way to tell his story. Plus, Gordon Arnold never made a dime from his recounting what he experienced on 11/22/63.
